Objective: To investigate the blood stasis and toxin in Graves disease, and to collectclinical data to summarize the curative effect of Jiakangning clinical intervention of Gravesdisease.Method: The60cases were randomly distributed into TCM group and westernmedicine group. The curative time was3months. Through analyzing clinical symptoms,signs, The level of thyroid hormone, Thyroid related antibodies, heart rate, bodyweight,thyromegaly and exophthalmos.Result: After treatment with statistical analysis, the treatment group compared withcontrol group, P <0.05, The treatment group could significantly decrease the serum thyroidhormone of patients and related antibody level, reduce thyromegaly and exophthalmosdegree, the treatment group was better than control group. After treatment, the two groupsof TCM Syndrome Scale score than before treatment were improved, and the treatmentgroup in improving symptoms significantly was better than the control group.Conclusion: Graves disease belongs to the category of "Ying Diseaseā€ of traditionalChinese medicine. Through the theory research widely, we found that blood stasis andtoxin played an important role in the occurrence and development of Graves disease.According to the characteristics of blood stasis and toxin pathogenic and his many years ofclinical experience, tutor put forward the deficiency of both qi and Yin and blood stasis andtoxin block as the standard academic point of view. Accordingly We established thesupplementing qi and nourishing Yin, promoting blood circulation, regulating the liverdetoxification as the main treatment method, and created Jiakangning. Through the60cases of clinical observation, we found that Jiakangning would significantly improve thesymptoms of the patients with Graves disease, thyroid hormones and antibodies, thyromegaly and other related indicators.
