Clinical Study On Three Steps And Nine Methods Tuina Therapy For The Treatment Of Nerve Root Type Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of three steps and nine methods for the treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Method:According to the unified diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,36cases were randomly divided into nerve root type of cervical disease into two groups.18cases in treatment group, treated by three steps and nine methods Tuina therapy; the control group of18cases, treated with traction.Three times per week, two weeks, a total of six times.Application of visual analogue scale (VAS) assessment before and after treatment in patients with pain symptoms, symptoms, signs, the functional status of clinical score (20points scale) assessment before and after treatment in patients with improvement of quality of life after treatment, and the total efficiency.Results:①The clinical therapeutic effects, the total effective rate of treatment group94.4%, control group, the total efficiency of66.7%, through statistical analysis, treatment on the neck in three steps and nine methods’s therapy effect was better than that of traction for the treatment of nerve type cervical spondylosis.②VAS score, treatment of pain symptoms improved significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).③Symptoms, signs, functional status scores, quality of life in treatment group was better than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Effect of three steps and nine methods in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy significantly, its effect is superior to traction therapy.
