Clinical Study Of "gu Ben Tong Bian Tang" On Senile Functional Constipation

Objective：To observe the clinical effect and mechanism of “Gu Ben Tong BianTang”on Senile Functional ConstipationMethods:60patients with Senile Functional Constipation were divided into twogroups at random:the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group(30cases)was treated with “Gu Ben Tong Bian Tang”,and the control group (30cases) was treatedwith“Su Tai Qing”or “Mo Sha Bi Li”,the two groups are three weeks for a course.Theclinical effects were observed during the course and the follow-up survey of6months.Results: The effective of TCM syndrome and the improvement of gastroscope areboth superior to that of the control group(P<0.05or P<0.01).The mechanism of thistherapy can significantly shorten the time of interval defecation and defecationtime,improve bowel evacuation,effort and so on.Adverse reactions did not occur during thetreatment groupsConclusions:“Gu Ben Tong Bian Tang”have good clinical efficacy on the treatmentof senile functional constipation.
