Objective: The aim of this passage is to explore that wether the relationship betweenviscera five shu acupoints and five elements shows diversity or not. So that, the theory offive shu acupoints can be further improved, and literature basis can be provided for theclinical application of five shu acupoints.Method: Search the literature in recent30years in China journal full text database (CNKI),VIP Chinese journal database (VIP),Wan fang journal full text database (WF) with “yinand yang” or “five elements” or “yin yang and five zang organs” or “meridian qi” or“meridian” or “five shu acupoits” as key words or subject. Then, review the retrievedarticles. Demonstrate the relationships among yin and yang, five elements, five zangorgans and five shu acpoints. Explore the intrinsic basis that contact viscera five acupoitsand five elements. And analysis the association between viscera five shu acupoints and fiveelements in pathological state under the guidance of basic theory of TCM andphilosophical dialectics.Result: Five zang organs and five elements are connected together by yin qi and yang qi.Five zang organs and five shu acupoints are connected by meridian qi. Meridian qi and qiof five zang organs both belong to qi of body. The ups and downs of meridian qi effect theacupoit quality of five shu acupoits. The basis of the correspondence between five zangorgans and five elements is the flow characteristic of meridian qi or the correspondence ofmain therapeutic effect of acupoints and five elements.Conclusion: Five viscera shu acupoints and five elements corresponded with each otherdynamically and the relationship between five shu acupoints and five elements showsdiversity in pathologic state.
