Design Of Patient Call System Based On Zigbee

With the increasing speed of the life, our own health problems have gradually become the focus of attention, therefore the development of Zigbee system in intelligent medical field is closely related with the great prospects. In the area of medical monitoring, although the intelligence information application was be used in advanced hospital, there are still shortcomings of long-term operation mode is not mature, the scale of the degree is not enough, the cluster degree is insufficient, and it also have high costs, security and privacy problems, these problems have seriously restricted the development of medical intelligence. Especially the nursing service for the patients in the hospital, the patients in the hospital as a special group need to strictly monitor the location, the consequences are serious if medical staff did not find the patients. The patients should avoid access to other areas due to the different diseases in case of the cross infection of the patients. Therefore the design of a real-time monitoring of the patient position system is very necessary for the improvement of intelligent hospital management.This paper introduces the design of patient call system based on Zigbee in detail, the system combine the advantages of Zigbee technology with Web technology, and the realization process of the system design are described in detail. The development of the system adopts the method of soft and hardware, design a wireless medical monitoring system for real-time monitoring of the patient’s position. The hardware of the system use the development board with CC2430/31as the core, the use of C language code to achieve the function of the position of the patients, and then the location information were transmitted to the gateway through a wireless, the host-computer software receive positioning information to the database for processing and storage, the user can view the location information using a Web browser. The system alarm when patients leave the designated surveillance area.This article mainly carries on the elaboration from following several aspects of the system. First of all, this paper expounds the research background, significance, present the domestic and foreign research situation and the trend of development, then summarizes the main content of this paper. Secondly, the advantages of Zigbee technology and Web technology are analyzed and compared, so that to design a target and building the technical route of the patient call system based on Zigbee. Then, the paper established the design scheme of the system according to the demand of the system development, mainly from the design of hardware、software、database and website of the system, and the method of black box testing is used to complete the system test. Finally, the conclusion is drawn and the prospect of the system is prospected.It has proved, the design of patient call system based on Zigbee can monitor the location of the patients in the designated area, and when the patient leaves the designated monitoring area, the alarm system can be alert. The system provides a reference for the position monitoring of the patients in China, and it has achieved the application and innovation in the field of medical care field.
