Objective:Knee osteoarthritis (knee osteoarthritis, KOA) is a degenerative joint disease, whichseriously affect the patients quality of life, clinical manifestations mainly for joint pain, when excessive labor or catch cold is aggravating, section on the main signs of swelling, often make rubs the activity, serious deformation may even occur. The emergence of thesesymptoms affected patients with lower limb motor function.Higher incidence of kneeosteoarthritis in middle-aged and old people, the incidence is higher in theelderly.Although there are a lot of examination and treatment at home and abroad, but nowour country clinical haven’t a complete set of evaluation method for the disease of lowerextremities function, rely on some of the existing evaluation methods can’t targetedresponse function of lower limb, lower limb function of evaluation is helpful to judge thecurative effect observation of condition, and guide the formulation and modification of thetreatment. This paper studies the lower limb function assessment scale (LEFS) in patients withknee osteoarthritis using the reliability and validity of the test, to explore the scale can bewidely applied to the knee osteoarthritis disease. Methods:To screening of the subjects,120people in using MMSE screening to evaluatepatients with knee osteoarthritis, fill in the lower extremities function assessment scale(LEFS) first, then fill in the SF-36, fill in the way is to question and answer. Then theresult of the test reliability and validity test.Reliability analysis used in this paper, we studya retest reliability, internal consistency reliability,1/2reliability;Validity analysis of thestructure validity, content validity, the validity.Results:1.The reliability analysis results:(1)the heavy reliability calculating various purpose of measuring the correlationcoefficient, the results showed that the total table of cranial correlation coefficient was0.961(p<0.01)(2) Internal consistency reliability scale all questions to the result of the research resultshows that the scale general Cronbach ’s alpha coefficient of0.884.The scale of individualpurpose Cronbach ’s alpha coefficient between0.420to0.888, in addition to the third topicquestions, question number e, h, t, other items are all greater than0.5.Scale of20questions, according to the exercise intensity can be divided into four dimensions, respectively is indaily life, light physical activity, physical activity and physical activity.Total score andeach dimension of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient between0.6290.710, coefficient of thesmallest is the slow movement of0.629of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient are: daily life0.660,0.659, light physical activity in physical activity0.701, heavy physical activity is0.710.From all the items and the total score and each dimension of the scale and total scoreof Cronbach’s alpha coefficient scale overall reliability good.(3) the split half reliability results for the content of the split half coefficient was0.838, odd even split half coefficient of0.961.2. The validity of the results of the analysis:(1) the structure validity of the result is, through the common factor analysis, there aresix common factor, respectively corresponding to the scale of six categories.(2)This scale for a total of20items, divided into four dimensions, the correlationcoefficient is the smallest question4and11were0.297, P <0.05, the other is greater than0.3, P <0.01).The total scores of each dimension score and scale correlation coefficientrespectively is0.704, daily life (P <0.01;Light intensity exercise0.616, P <0.01;In themovement for intensity0.796, P <0.01;High intensity exercise0.935, P <0.05.(3) the school the validity of the results is Chinese LEFS scale scores and SF-36scalescores at the0.01level (double side) significantly correlated, Pearson correlationcoefficient r of0.709(r=0.70.9related degree)Conclusions:1. The heavier the reliability, homogeneity reliability, structure validity, schoolstandard validity, content validity, and other aspects of Chinese LEFS scale has carried onthe examination, the results prove that Chinese LEFS scale in patients with kneeosteoarthritis application has good reliability and validity, can achieve the requirement ofsurveying.2. Use Chinese LEFS scale evaluate lower limb function in patients with kneeosteoarthritis and feasible.
