Clinical Observation On The Methods Of Clear Heat,Harmonize The Stomach And Nourish Yin To Prevention And Control Of Radioactive Esophagitis In Patients With Esophageal Carcinoma

Research objective:This study try to through the relatively objective and a recognized evaluation system to discuss the effect and advantage of the methods of clear heat,harmonize the stomach and nourish Yin in treating radioactive esophagitis in patients with esophageal carcinoma.And to observe the side reaction,the influence on the quality of the patients’life,and lay the foundation for the further study on the mechanism of action of these methods.Research method:40esophageal carcinoma patients who had received radiotherapy were randomly divided into treatment group (clear heat,harmonize the stomach,nourish Yin Chinese medicine decoction treatment group)20cases and control group (Western medicine compound treatment group)20cases.The observation date since the start of the first day of radiotherapy, last to one month late of the treatment. Compare the incidence of radiation esophagitis grade,KPS score and body weight in two groups of patients.Also compare the radiation esophagitis incidence and duration time and the curative effect of patients in the two group.Observe the adverse reaction in all the patients.The data were statistical and analyzed by using the SPSS17.0statistical software.Results:(1) In the comparison of the incidence rate between two groups of patients, both of the two groups of patients have suffered the radiation esophagitis, the incidence rate was100%, no difference in contrast;(2) In comparison of the radiation esophagitis grade between the two groups of patients, according to the RTOG standard, the level2and above level2radiation esophagus injury incidence rate, the treatment group was40%, the control group was80%, there was significant difference between two groups (X2=6.67, P<0.05);(3) In comparison of the incidence and duration time between the two groups of patients with radiation esophagitis,on the incidence time of radiation esophagitis, Counting days from the first day of radiotherapy,the treatment group was (12.9±1.68) d, the control group was (11.1±1.20) d,(t=3.884, P=0.000<0.05);on the duration time of radiation esophagitis,Counting days from the first day of occurring radiation esophagitis,the treatment group was (12.0±1.74) d, control group (19.4±1.67) d,(t=-13.382, P=0.000<0.05), All differences has statistical sense;(4) In comparison of the curative effect of the two groups,the effective rate of the treatment group was85%, while the control group was50%, there was significant difference between two groups (X2=5.58, P<0.05);(5) In comparison of the KPS score and body weight between the two groups of patients,the former comparison P=0.018, P<0.05, the latter was P=0.028, P<0.05,both of them have a significant difference;(6) In the observation of adverse reactions and safety index, the control group have one people appeared vomit after using the drugs,but he is come better after the symptomatic treatment, there is no obvious adverse reactions and side-effect any more,comparison between the two groups have no difference.Conclusion:The methods of clear heat,harmonize the stomach,nourish Yin have no preventive effect On the esophageal cancer patients with radiation esophagitis.But its help to reducing the severity of radiation esophagitis,and delay the happen time of the radiation esophagitis,and its also can shorten the duration of the clinic symptom in patients with radioactive esophagitis.Its also have a certain effect to cure this disease,and also help to improve the KPS score and the body weight of patients.In addition,its have no adverse reactions and side effects.The above effects than western medicine compound have certain advantages,is worthy of clinical application.
