| Objective:To investigate the oral Biyuanshu in c57mice in the treatment of chronic sinusitis and nasal mucosa from mice levels of Cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) and Matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) to explore Biyuanshu oral liquid. Therapeutic mechanism of chronic sinusitis. Methods:Based on Abraham Jacob molding method, in order to Streptococcus pneumonias infection bacteria, animal model of chronic sinusitis, and set up the normal group, model group, sham operation group, the group of Western medicine, the low, middle and high dose groups.8weeks after modeling, the Biyuanshu oral liquid, in a low, high dose and clarithromycin was administered in treatment of Western medicine. After2weeks treatment, all mice in the experimental group were sacrificed and take out a part of nasal mucosa, nasal mucosa pathological analysis by HE staining, the other part for immunohistochemical method(SABC method) the average optical density obtained COX-2and MMP-2values. Mental activity in mice and observe the situation in the whole course of the experiment, mice were mainly observed cases of sinusitis and inflammation. Results:The model group HE staining pathological slices showed that in model group of chronic inflammation is more severe, the four treatment groups had different degrees of repair of nasal mucosa; Biyuanshu oral liquid in the treatment of middle dose group COX-2in nasal mucosa and MMP-2content decreased obviously, better than western medicine group effect is good, close to normal levels; high, low dose group of Chinese medicine than middle dose group sham operation group; close to the normal group, the model group was significantly higher than that of normal group. Conclusion:This experiment successfully established an animal model of chronic sinusitis. Biyuanshu appropriate dose oral significant effect on chronic sinusitis, nasal locally for repair,anti-inflammatory effects. Probably by reducing the content of the nasal mucosa and COX-2and MMP-2, inhibited arachidonic acid into prostaglandins and reduces MMP-2extracellular matrix degradation, thereby treating chronic sinus inflammation in mice. |
