In both nationality, the mortality in male were higher than that in female (X2Korean-Chinese=127.41,PKorean-Chinese<0.001;X2han-Chinese=14.03, PHan-Chinese<0.001)。2) The main causes of death:The five leading death causes were malignant neoplasm, cardiovascular disease, heart disease, injury and poisoning, respiratory system disease in turn., which occupy78.85percent of the whole cause of death. The main malignant neoplasm were cancers of liver, lung and stomach, and the top three injury and poisoning were traffic accident, drop, suicide. 3) The age curve of mortality was similar to "V" shape, mortality rate of the10-19years old group was the lowest, the mortality in male was higher than that in female but there was no significantly difference between different gender in the group of0-9、10-19、20-29、over90years old.4) The first death cause for young adults was injury and poisoning, for the middle age and old age malignant neoplasm and cardiovascular disease were main death causes.5) The main death causes and sequence of causes of death in urban residents were similar to rural residents. The mortality of death causes in rural were higher than in urban except respiratory system disease.6) The total mortality was higher than before ten years ago. In male, the mortality of main death causes except psychosis and Infectious diseases were higher than before ten years ago. In female, the mortality of main death causes except digestive system disease, endocrine diseases, urinary tract diseases, psychosis and Infectious diseases were higher than before ten years ago.Conclusion:1) The mortality of main death causes were significantly different between in different sex, nationality and area. Death rate of male was higher than that of female, death rate of Korean-Chinese was higher than that of Han-Chinese, and death rate of rural residents was higher than that of urban residents, the total mortality increased than ten years ago.2) The main causes of death in Yanji were malignant neoplasm, cardiovascular disease, so non-communicable disease, injury and poisoning are the main disease that we must prevent and control in the future.3) age-specific death rate increased with the increase of age, the first cause of death of different age groups were different, young age were mainly influenced by injury and poisoning and old age were mainly influenced by non-communicable disease.
