Clinical Characteristic Analysis Of231Cases Of Measles In A Shenyang Hospital

Objective:To provide evidence for control and eliminate measles measures throughanalysis the clinical characteristic of231cases of measles in a hospital in ShenyangMethod:The clinical datas of231hospitalized patients in November2013to May2014were reviewed in a hospital in Shenyang. Statistics of their onset age, vaccination,measles patient exposure history, clinical manifestation, laboratory examination,analysis of the changes and clinical features of epidemiology.Result:The age distribution of measles are different from before, adult cases at highproportion of the total measles cases, followed by the children under24months, thepercentage of adult measles cases were significantly higher than those of children.The top two profession are unemployed and farmers.The percentage of cases have ahistory of measles vaccine immunization were low. Most cases have prodromal stageof the symptoms of measles in clinical manifestations, except the fever, cough, spot ofKoplik ’s in the oral mucosa typical symptoms, and measles patients in the prodromalstage appeared diarrhea were higher than before, diarrhea rate significantly higherthan the previous survey.The incidence of measles prodromal stage symptoms includerunny nose, headache, sore throat, tonsil swelling, nausea and vomiting haveStatistical differences between children and adult. Measles complications in situation,the measles cases in hospital complications mainly have laryngitis, pneumonia, viralhepatitis; measles caused by differences in the incidence of complications in childrenand adults have no statistical significance. Conclusion:The adult measles cases were significantly higher than the proportion of childrencases.Measles in patients with only23people has a history of measles vaccineimmunization, immunization work also has some shortcomings. Most cases haveprodromal stage of the symptoms of measles in clinical manifestations, except thefever, cough, spot of Koplik ’s in the oral mucosa typical symptoms, diarrhea ratesignificantly higher than the previous survey. Complications mainly have laryngitis,pneumonia, viral hepatitis.
