Objective:To find out the characteristics and pathogenic mechanism of the short-timehigh humidity surrounding by observing the effect of short-time high humidity and it withcold or/and wind to the lung tissue.Methods:We randomly divided120mices into12groups,including one controlgroup,8wet groups which have3dgrees raletive high humidity and3kinds of simulationtime,wet&cold group,wind&wet group and wind&cold&wet group.The control group didnot received any intervention.The model groups were exposed to the correspondingenvironment.During the experiment,the situation of the mice was observed. The lung tissuewas collected,Lung histopathologic changes and the content of the TNF-α, IL-1β,SOD,MDA and the expression of the HSP70were observed.Results:The short-time high humidity surrounding can cause damage to the body.Themodel group showed different degrees of pathological changes of lung tissue,and theTNF-α,IL-1β,SOD,MDA and the expression of HSP70mRNA rise to different extent.Inaddition,the five indexes have roughly the same change trend.The indexes of thecompound invaded(the cold and wet,the wind and wet,the cold with wind and wet) groupsrise more than the same degree high humidity surrounding in the same stimulatetime,especially in the wet,cold and wind group.Comparing the indexes of the group just inthe high humidity surrounding,the indexes of (85±3)%group change obvious themost.Under the same humidity,the groups of8h have the most obvious change than othergroups which have the same cumulative stimulate time.Conclusion: Short-time high humidity surrounding can cause inflammatory changesand activation of oxidative stress in the lung,and HSP70may be involved in thisprocess.The same trend of the protective and damage indexes meant the Chinese medicine theory of the confliction between the vital-qi and pathogens was subjective.Therefore,thestudy proved that the mathematical description and quantification was important for thesduty of etiology of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
