Clinical Study Of The Method Of Tonifying Kidney And Clearing Heat In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthrosis

Objective: The study uses the method of tonifying kidney and clearing heat in thetreatment of knee osteoarthrosis.We Observe the clinical effect of patients with kneeosteoarthritis and liver-kidney deficiency, dampness-heat syndrome who had receivedtreatment of bushenqingrefang in order to provide an important theoretical basis forusing the method of benefiting hepatorenal,heat-clearing and detoxifying in the treatmentof knee osteoarthrosis.Methods:We collected60cases’patients of knee osteoarthritis included in the specificstandard.These cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group of30cases each.We prescribed bushenqingrefang for the experimental group andglucosamine sulfate capsules for the control group.The observation period is2months.Then we observed some indexes of the two groups of patients before and aftertreatment to determine the clinical effect,including disease severity,total curativeeffect,TCM syndrome curative effect, main symptoms, laboratory, imaging indexes andadverse reaction,etc.Results: On the severity of the disease,The difference between the experimentalgroup and the control group was statistically significant, and the experimental groupimprovement is better than that of control group (P<0.05) by comparing the two groupsbefore and after treatment respectively. As to the total curative effect of disease, theexperimental group effective rate was90.0%and control group was76.7%.The differencebetween the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05) and the experimental group isbetter than the control group.About the TCM syndrome integral effect,the experimentalgroup effectiveness was93.3%while the control group was73.3%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05), the experimental group isbetter than the control group. On the improvement of main symptoms,the experimentalgroup is better than that of control group (P<0.05).The two groups take an equal role in thechange of erythrocyte sedimentation rate (P<0.05).However, the experimental group haddone better than the control group (P<0.05) on the lower aspects of C-reaction protein.Bothgroups can improve the condition of synovial membrane oedema and decrease synovialthickness. And that the experimental group is better than the control group (P <0.05).Safety index of observation in the two groups before and after treatment within groupand the comparison between groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic method of benefiting hepatorenal,heat-clearing anddetoxifying for the patients with knee osteoarthritis and liver-kidney deficiency,dampness-heat syndrome have achieved better curative effect.It can relieve patients’ pain,improve the clinical symptoms, treatment of synovitis, etc.Through using the method ofcombining traditional Chinese and Western medicine dialectical thinking, simultaneoustreatment of principal and subordinate symptoms, it is worthy of popularization andapplication in the treatment of knee arthritis.
