The Clinical Study Of Shoulder-Hand Syndrome After Stroke Treated By Heavy-Moxibustion Through Ginger Paste

ObjectiveThis study aims to observe the difference in curative effects between heavy-moxibustion through gingerpaste method and the traditional acupuncture metho d treatment of shoulder- hand syndrome after stroke, compare the advantages and problems of the two treatments, test the validity of moxibustion with ginger method on of the shoulder- hand syndrome after stroke, and analyze its mechanism an d application. Methods60 cases of patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke evenly devided into treatment group(moxibustion with ginger group) and control group(traditional acupuncture group). For treatment group, ginger will be pasted on the acupuncture, and 2 or 3 moxa sticks are ignited together in moxibustion at each point. Each treatment lasts about 30-60 min. Control group will be treated mainly with traditional needle(with Er Yu side shoulder, arm, li 11, outside, or valley, Zhongzhu holes).A course of 10 days, after three consecutive period of treatment, we use the vis ual analogue scale(VAS) method and the measurement and upper extremity edema de gree simplified Fugl-Meyer rating scale(FMA) to give the treatment assess and Quant itative rating before or after each course of treatment. Results1 Two groups are all P<0.05 under the rank and inspection, which prompt the treatment group and control group in improving SHS pain has curative effect. But by the rank and inspection, the comparison between the two way are all P>0.05, no statistical significance, which prompts there is no difference between the two groups in terms of relieve SHS pain.2 Two groups are all P<0.05, the treatment group and control group in improving SHS wrist hand swelling has curative effect. Between the two way to compare the independent sample t-test, after treatment of 1, 2, 3 are P=0.00<0.05. statistically significant difference, the treatment group in improving SHS swollen wrist hand is better than that in control group.3 Upper limb simplify the FMA integral comparison before and after treatment in both groups, the rank and inspection, two groups are all P<0.05, the treatment group and control group in improving SHS has curative effect of upper limb movement function. Between the two way to compare the independent sample t-test, 1 and 2 course after treatment, P>0.05, there was no statistically significant difference, the tip in the two groups in improving SHS upper limb movement function has no obvious difference in two period of treatment; Treatment after the third course, P=0.02<0.05, statistically significant, prompt treatment group after 3 period of treatment, in improving the SHS upper limb movement function is better than that in control group.4 Inspection, statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Treatment group total effective rate was 100%, significant efficiency was 73.33%, control group total effective rate was 93.33%, the efficiency is 50%, the treatment group in improving clinical curative effect for patients with SHS is better than that in control group. Conclusions1 Moxibustion with ginger method and the traditional acupuncture treatment can obviously improve the SHS pain degree, and function.2 Moxibustion with ginger method heavy moxibustion therapy in terms of improving SHS wrist hand swelling, speed is superior to traditional acupuncture, and durable, not easily again and again.3 Moxibustion with ginger method in the aspect of improving SHS upper limb movement function is better than that of traditional acupuncture, among them, 2 and 3 period of treatment is the main difference have curative effect.4 In terms of overall curative effect evaluation, every mud ginger "heavy moxibustion therapy to treat the clinical curative effect of SHS after stroke is superior to the traditional acupuncture method.5 Every ginger mud heavy moxibustion therapy after stroke is safe, effective, easy to operation, worthy of clinical popularization and application.
