ObjectiveImplementing motor imagery with music therapy, based on the conventional rehabilitation training to stroke patients with hemiplegia, to observe effect of Upper Limbs, hands ability and activities of daily living.MethodTo collect 60 stroke patients with hemiplegia, randomly divided into general group, motor imagery group and combined group, each group included 20 patients. Each group received routine nervous medical treatment and care, and accepted rehabilitation after vital signs stabled, The general group was given regular physical therapy and occupational therapy, motor imagery group was given motor imagery Therapy, while combined group was given motor imagery with music therapy. 8 weeks later, each group was assessed with fugl-meger motor assessment, wolf motor funcational test and barthel index data was processed through SPSS17.0 software. Inspection level is setted as α=0.05, when P<0.05, it is significance in statistics.Results1、Fugl-meger motor assessment comparison: Before the rehabilitation training, the differences of FMA score in each group are not significance in statistics(P>0.05); 8 weeks later, combined group is better than motor imagery group in FMA score(P<0.05), and both groups are better than general group(P<0.01).2、Wolf motor funcational test comparison: Before the rehabilitation training, the differences of WMFT score in each group are not significance in statistics(P>0.05); 8 weeks later, comparing WMFT score between combined group and motor imagery group, the differences are not significance in statistics(P>0.05); but both groups are better than general group(P<0.01).3、Activities of daily living comparison: Before the rehabilitation training, the differences of ADL score in each group are not significance in statistics(P>0.05); 8 weeks later, comparing ADL score between combined group and motor imagery group, the differences are not significance in statistics(P>0.05), but both groups are better than general group(P<0.01).Conclusions1、Motor imagery with music therapy can improve the function of upper limbs of stroke patients with hemiplegia.2、Motor imagery with music therapy can improve the hands ability of stroke patients with hemiplegia.3、Motor imagery with music therapy can improve the activities of daily living of stroke patients with hemiplegia.
