Clinical Research Of Yiqitongmaifang Prescriptions Combined Puerarin On The Treatment Of Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy

Objective:Anterior ischemic optic neuropathy(AION) is caused by the posterior ciliary arteries that supply the front region of the sieve circulation disorders,cause parts of the disc occured to be infarcted, which manifestations of sudden painless vision loss,papilloedema and characteristic visual field loss,and followed by optic atrophy.AION is an eye disease with high blinding and difficult to be treat.In clinical the Western Medical often take glucocorticoids,vasodilator drugs and neuroprotection drugs to treatment AION.But a portion of the AION patient have diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,or have severe systemic symptoms can not afford to glucocorticoid therapy,that make treatment difficult.Tutor of Gao Jiansheng Researcher based on his years of clinical experience and diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine summed up of Yiqiwenyang Tongluo method,united puerarin intravenous infusion to treatment AION.The treatment has achieved a certain effect.This paper reviews the research status of AION,and observation the efficacy of Yiqitongmai prescription combined puerarin on the treatment of AION,and try to investigate the mechanism of this treatment and focus on the factors affecting efficacy.Methods:Aretrospective analysis of clinical data system of 58 cases (69 eyes and 11 cases of two eyes disease), and were given oral medicine Yiqitongmai parties and joint with puerarin intravenously.Patients with diabetes like hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other medical diseases were given appropriate medical therapy.Observing the visual, vision field,the TCM Syndrome and other indicators, and the resulting data were statistically analyzed by SAS9.2 statistical software.Results:1.The total efficiency of treatment is 70.86%,and the effective rate is 29.31%,show Yiqitongmai prescription combined puerarin is effective on the treatment of AION.2.Before and after treatment the best corrected visual acuity compare P<0.05, the results is statistically significant,indicate the treatment can effectively improve the patient’s vision.3.Before and after treatment the vision field (MS, MD, LV) compare P<0.05, the results is statistically significant,indicate the treatment can effectively improve the patient’s vision fieldAVision before treatment were negatively correlated with efficacy.5.Onset time and efficacy were negatively correlated.6.Age was positively correlated with efficacy.7.TCM syndromes effective rate is 88.89%, remarkably effective rate is 16.67%.Conclusion:1.Yiqitongmai prescription combined puerarin on the treatment of AION,which can improve the patient’s vision, vision field and syndromes,is an effective treatment.2.Vision before treatment were negatively correlated with efficacy.3.Onset time and efficacy were negatively correlated.4.Age was positively correlated with efficacy.
