Objective: To investigate the effect of Xuebijing on the immune regulation in patients with SIRS. Methods: 56 SIRS patients were included into this study form January 2013 to December 2013 in ICU of Guizhou Provincial People’s Hospital Hospital. These patients were randomly divided into Control Group(Group C) and Treatment Group(Group T). The patients in group C received routine treatment combining with 0.9%Na Cl Injection 150 ml Q12h. The patients in group T received routine treatment combining with 0.9%Na Cl Injection 100 ml and Xuebijing Injection 50 ml Q12h. These would be recorded for the level of IL-6、TNF-ɑ、Ig G、Ig M、Ig A 、 CD4+,CD8+,CD4+ / CD8+, monocytes CD14 + HLA-DR, the score of APACH II, heart rate, white blood cells, body temperature and respiration rate at pre-treatment and 4,7days after treatment. The cases of MODS would be recorded at 7 days after treatment. Results: The basal conditions such as sex, age, APACHII score, disease category and immune condition had no statistically significant difference in two groups before treatment(P> 0.05). The level of Ig G、Ig M、Ig A 、CD4+,CD8+,CD4+ / CD8+ and monocytes CD14 + HLA-DR in T Group were higher than that in C Group at 4 and 7 days after therapy(P <0.05). The other data in treatment group had significant improvement than those in control group(P <0.05). The incidence of MODS were not significantly different between two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: Xuebijing Injection could relieve the level of inflammatory factor and improve immune founction in patients with SIRS.
