Research backgroundRehabilitation for the people with disability is the core content and eternal theme of work for the people with disability. The physical handicapped is in the majority; to do a good job of limb rehabilitation for the people with disability is very important. Community-based rehabilitation is an important work part of community service center. Domestic institutions rarely created profiles for these people; the rehabilitation services can’t fulfill the needs for the people with physical handicapped, not even system rehabilitation training, less rehabilitative physician and therapists’guidance. ObjectiveTo Learn Kangqiao registered with limb disability certificate basic situation of persons with disabilities, and to investigate the rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities Kangqiao demand; analysis for physically disabled persons, classification rehabilitation, community-based rehabilitation of patients with physical disability evaluation results; preliminary exploration physically disabled community-based rehabilitation model.MethodsIn Kangqiao community rehabilitation for physically disabled persons to make a detailed investigation needs to analyze and card file legislation; mastered the details were analyzed after classification, and then develop "individualized" comprehensive rehabilitation programs; rehabilitation sites, teams make home visits for community-based rehabilitation and guidance family involvement.ResultsAfter the community rehabilitation, in accordance with the training evaluation criteria of" The 11th five-year plan of rehabilitation of people with physical handicapped":13 cases had marked significantly effective,451 cases had effective, and 59 cases were invalid. Efficient was 88.71%. Among the 233 cases of joint disease people with disabilities,7 cases with surgical treatment value after surgery and rehabilitation training,3 cases postoperative neural adhesion, muscle strength and sensory scoring average of four points to improve; 4 cases underwent the artificial joint replacement and the joint function activity compared with preoperative 30 degree, and effectively reduce the degree of disability.24 cases of lower limb amputation prosthetics disabled, residual mutilation side muscle enlargement of average 1.3 cm,12 patients were not contact with prosthetic parts damage,4 cases occurred wear significantly reduced.8 cases of paraplegia patients,2 cases of removing catheter and treat pressure ulcers.1 case can be in a wheelchair.ConclusionAfter classification management of the people with physical handicapped and the implementation of "individualization" comprehensive rehabilitation programs; team door to door service and family participation mode of community rehabilitation, the rehabilitation effect is obvious and can effectively improve the patient’s quality of life. The model has application prospects.
