Clinical Research Of Acupuncture Cooperated With Lipitor To Treat Primary Hyperlipidemia (Spleen Deficient And Food Hysteresis Type)

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture cooperated with lipitor in treating primary hyperlipidemia (spleen deficient and food hysteresis type).Methods sixty patients with primary hyperlipidemia (spleen deficient and food hysteresis type) were equally randomized into acupuncture medicament group and western medicine group. Patients of the acupuncture medicament group were treated by lipitor 20mg one day and acupuncturing baihui (DU 20),zhongwan (RN 12),and bilateral zusanli(ST 36),sanyinjiao(SP 6),yinlingquan(SP 9),fenglong(ST 40) one time a day, baihui twirling 200r/min every 10 minutes,needle retaining 30 minutes, only treating 6 days a week.Patients of the western medicine group were only conducted by lipitor 10mg one day.Treatment is conducted 4 weeks. The patients’clinical condutions were evaluated by using the level of TC、TG、HDL-C、LDL-C in the serum before and after the treatment. Before the day that the patients get blood, they could not drink and eat fat food in the dinner. After an empty stomach 12 hours, they had to get the venous blood for determination that before and after the treatment each time. The two group use integral method to evaluate the Chinese medicine symptom before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment, the level of TC、G、DL-C、HDL-C in the serum of the two groups were significantly decreased in comparison with pre-treatment in the same one group (P<0.05). There are 2 patients in the acupuncture medicament group were dropped,the effect of acupuncture medicament group[96.4% (27/28)]was superior to that of the western medicine group [90% (27/30)] (P<0.05).Comparison of Chinese medicine symptom score:The acupuncture medicament group suggest treatment group indecreasing symptom score better than the control group(P<0.05)。The acupuncture medicament group comparison suggest treatment group indecreasing symptom score better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion 1. Acupuncture cooperated with lipitor in treating primary hyperlipidemia (spleen deficient and food hysteresis type) is meaningful, and the efficacy is superior to the simply western medicine group.2. The efficacy of acupuncture cooperated with lipitor in treating primary hyperlipidemia (spleen deficient and food hysteresis type) in changing the plasma lipid level and Chinese medicine symptom score is superior to the simply western medicine group.
