Meta Analysis Of Correlation Between Colorectal Can Cer And Type 2 Diabetes

Objective:This meta-analysis intends to study the literatures of the association about colorectal cancer and type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:Studies and relevant li teratures regarding the correlation between colorectal cancer and type 2 diabetes fro m 1999 to 2013 were searched computer retrieval method though PubMed, Medline, EMbase,Wanfang,CNKI and CBM,and manual retrieval, Chinese and English publis hed material and conference papers and recover the paper of literature references, a nd use RevMan5.3 software Meta analysis.结果:8 literatures were included, from 1 999 to 2013, the number of cases is 416602 cases.the number of cases in each art icles from 14109 cases to 118072 cases.There are 4 articles study about the incid ence of male and female separately, and 2 articles study both of them.The 8 studi es is the study about the patients with type 2 diabetes, by case history and the ag e judgment for To diagnose type 2 diabetes mellitus by inquesting the case history and age. Meta analysis showed that the risk of colorectal cancer of patients with type 2 diabetes, is 1.39 times than the normal control group [95%CI of (1.27,1.53), P<0.00001].
