The Clinical Curative Effect Of Chenyuan Ointment In Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: This article is to observe the clinical efficacy of Chenyuan ointment in treating knee osteoarthritis by randomized controlled clinical study. Method: 98 cases of patients were divided into the placebo group, Chen ointment group and Chen combined massage technique group, by the random sequence unpacking the envelope method. Three groups compare with each other respectively from the aspects of symptoms, physical signs integral. Results: After treatment for four weeks, observation of knee osteoarthritis severity index(ISOA), which as indicators of curative effect evaluation, after variance analysis of the constructed model was found(P>0.05), the comparison between groups, there is no statistically significant. Therefore, the difference of total effective rate among three groups can not believe that there is meaningful. But at the end of the treatment, around the SF36 physiological function of statistics found that Chen ointment and Chen combined massage technique group, compared with placebo group, there is statistically significant(P<0.05), but Chen ointment compared with Chen combined massage technique group, there is no statistical significance to be found(P>0.05). Twenty four weeks after the end of the treatment, return visit of knee osteoarthritis severity index(ISOA) to the curative effect of three groups, the placebo group is 17.86%, Chen ointment group is 74.19%, Chen combined massage technique group is 56.67%, after statistics analysis with statistical significance(P<0.05), And pairwise comparisons are statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Chen ointment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, the curative effect in short-term is not so obvious, but in the long term is very effective, to reduce the serious knee osteoarthritis index, which can be widely in clinical use.
