Efficacy And Safety Of Phlegm Hemostatic Prescription Acupoint Sticking Together With Western Medicine Therapy On Ankylosing Spondylitis

Aim:Compare the treatment of phlegm stasis resistance complex type of ankylosing spondylitis by pure western medicine and phlegm hemostatic prescription acupoint sticking together with western medicine.Estimate this methed’s effect and security.Method:Divide80patients of phlegm and blood stasis resistance complex type ankylosing spondylitis into2groups. Treat the treatment group with phlegm hemostatic prescription acupoint sticking together with western medicine. Treat the control group with pure western medicine. Compare the patients’ VAS、BASDAI、BASFI、ESR、CRP and the evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms integral. Statistics treatment is made up on all the results.Result:the difference on patients’VAS、BASDAI、BASFI、ESR、CRP mark and TCM symptoms integral (except body trapped heavy) are clear before and after the treatment.(p<0.05)2. the symptoms, physical sign, laboratory integral were compared. After statistical processing, there is no statistical significance on ESR and CRP(P>0.05).But on the comparison of VAS、 BASDAI、BASFI, it has the statistical significance(P<0.05). This means that treatment of phlegm hemostatic prescription acupoint sticking together with western medicine is better than pure western medicine on the improvement of low back pain, lasting of morning stiffness, and spinal function; but on TCM symptoms integral (except body trapped heavy) and total integral, there is statistical significance (P<0.05), especially on the integrals difference of lumbar sacral back pain, lasting of morning stiffness, pricking, dark purple tongue, sublingual vein circuity, there is statistical significance (P<0.05). This means treatment of phlegm hemostatic prescription acupoint sticking together with western medicine is better than pure western medicine on lumbar sacral back pain, lasting of morning stiffness, pricking, dark purple tongue, sublingual vein circuity (the healing of pain caused by TCM blood stasis nature and blood stasis) and the adjustment of the whole TCM symptoms;3. Treatment effect estimate:total effective rate of treatment group is87.5%, total effective rate of control group is50.0%. After statistics processing, the rank-and-testing shows statistical significance(P<0.01)..Conclusion:the effect of phlegm hemostatic prescription acupoint sticking together with western medicine is obviously better than pure western medicine, especially to the healing of low back pain, improvement of spinal function and the ability of living. Therefore, this method should be researched and applied more in the future clinical application.
