Objective By using multislice computed tomography(CT) scanning technology, through the three-dimensional reconstruction analysis of changes of C4 ~ C7 segment on nerve root type cervical spondylosis patients in Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot before and after treatment.Evaluate the efficacy of the Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot treatment and explore its action mechanism.Method Cervical spiral CT scan and reconstruction of three-dimensional model of the cervical spine were performed before and after the Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot treatment in 30 cases which met the diagnostic criteria of nerve root type cervical spondylosis. After a course of three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot treatment, analyze the changes of observed indicators in spiral CT, including: cervical lordosis, the relationship between the center line and the cervical spine, intervertebral foramen, cervical disc, and the combination of symptoms with signs. Results The Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot treatment in nerve root type cervical spondylosis could effectively relieve the patient’s clinical symptoms, the observed imaging indicators after treatment, including: cervical physiological curvature, the relationship between cervical spine and center line, changes of intervertebral foramen were significant, the statistical analysis was meaningful(P<0.05).Conclusion 1. The effectiveness of Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot on the therapy of nerve root type cervical spondylosi is certain. 2. The Three-dimensional balance regulating spinal plot on the therapy of nerve root type cervical spondylosi is safe and effective. Its mechanism may be adjust the biomechanical balance of cervical vertebra, relax tense muscles, improve the local blood circulation and the small joint disorder, improve relationship between the relative position of nerve and herniated discs, relatively expand the distance of intervertebral foramen and the intervertebral disc, release the nerve root adhesion, eventually improve the patient’s clinical symptoms. 3. Cervical spiral CT scan and three-dimensional reconstruction clearly show the imaging changes of before and after treatment on nerve root type cervical spondylosis: the improvement of the physiological curve, the recovery of the spine’s location, the expansion of intervertebral foramen and so on. Cervical spiral CT scan and three-dimensional reconstruction have wide application prospect in the treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.
