The Operational Status Research On New Old-age Care Mode Of Combining Medicine With Support

With the further deepening of aging, Chinese aging population has been more than 200 million. Among them more than 60% old people are suffering from cardiovascular, metabolic and other chronic diseases. 37 million old people are in the disability or half-disability. They need special care and medical services. Chinese Gerontological association executive vice president--Zhao Baohua said: "The elderly have three needs: basic needs,such as pension insurance, medical insurance, long term care, etc; service needs, such as services combining medicine with support; spiritual needs. The elderly also have two worries: the first is the loss of energy, the second is getting sick. "Hospitals can not provide for the aged, family physicians is difficult to help the aged at home, the old-age care agency has no doctor. So can old-age care institutions solve these health care problems? The current old-care institutions mainly have two types: private nursing home and the welfare nursing home. Too few elderly conservation beds are provided for the aged suffering in the disability or half-disability. Community home care services have poor facilities and single function. It is difficult to provide nursing care,medical rehabilitation, mental consolation and many other services. KMT Central Committee Vice Chairman Liu jiaqiang think that the direction to combine medicine with support is fabulous, but the industrial development is affected by a number of factors. So the discussion and research about this issue of combining medicine with support have a very important theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes the mode of combining medicine and support of A nursing home in shenxian as an example, and makes the systematic analysis and research to this mode on county-level based on the Social work related theory. This paper mainly includes introduction and three chapters’ mainbody.The introduction describes briefly about the topic’s research background,current situation and innovation point.The first chapter is the related concepts and situation analysis about the service mode of combining medicine with support in our country. It mainly makes a elaboration from the two following aspects: the concept definition of combining medicine with support and current analysis in old-age care mode.The second chapter discusses the operational status quo of old-age care mode in Shenxian, Shandong province. And it includes the basic overview,old-age care mode development history in Shenxian,Shandong province and operational effectiveness and problem of medicine support combining pension mode.The third introduction discusses the function of social work idea in completing the medicine support combining old-age care mode in Shenxian.And it discusses from the following four aspects: the first is the necessity of social work using in the medicine support combining mode, the second is the feasibility of social work using in the medicine support combining mode, the third is the approach and problem of social work using in the A nursing home,the fourth is the reality significance of social work using in medicine support combining old-age care mode.Practice has no end, the same as theory exploration.
