Acupuncture Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type) Clinical Study

Purpose: To observe the therapeutic effect of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(the type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis) treated by acupuncture and to discuss the security and effectiveness of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(the type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis) treated by acupuncture as well as the functional mechanism of acupoint and to offer safe and effective therapeutic plans.Method: After screening the patients with the criteria of diagnosis, 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each of 30 cases. In the treatment group of acupuncture, while the control group used the oral Mecobalamin tablets, treatment for 4 weeks, after the end of treatment on the clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.Result: Under the circumstance of no prominent difference between the two groups regarding sex, age by contrastive analysis(p>0.05), the total effective rate of treatment group is 86.7%, which is dramatically higher than that of the contrast group---43.3%.The two groups’ comparative difference are of statistical significance(p<0.01), which indicates that the total effective rate of the acupoint group is remarkably higher than non-acupoint group.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture has a prominent effect on treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy(the type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis).2. Acupuncture treatment and Mecobalamin tablets in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type) have the effect, the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type) and no obvious toxic and side effects and so on diabetic peripheral neuropathy(Qi deficiency and blood stasis type) of treatment has certain advantage.3.Acupuncture has certain specificity, is a carrier of main and collateral channels function.
