The Clinical Study Is About The Research Of Efficacy For Treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) With Tang Bi Wai Xi Fang

Purpose:By rational scientific and clinical research,to evaluate effecting,security and relative superiority to Western medicine in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) with Tang Bi Wai Xi Fang (TBWXF).Exploring the role of the mechanism in treating DPN.Exploring the characteristics and advantages in treating DPN with TBWXF.Providing some reference for DPN around Chinese medicine control methods and drugs researches.Methods:We select 40 DPN patients from department of endocrine in our hospital,which conform with inclusion and exclusion criteria,they were randomly divided into the treated group and controlled group,each group has 20 cases.There is no statistical difference between two groups before reserach.Patients in the controlled group are treated by conventional treatment of western medicine;while patients in the treated group use extra Tang Bi Wai Xi Fang(recipe:Hua Jiao30g,Ru Xiang30g,Mo Yao30g,Hong Hua30g,Ren Dong Teng30g,Bing Pian10g,Ji Xue Teng60g and so on),once per day,30 minutes once,period of treatment being 2 months.We evaluate two groups with index such as Chinese medical symptom-type sores,hemorheology (blood high cut viscosity,blood.low cut viscosity,plasma viscosity), TCSS,10g monofilament test before and after the treatment.Results:The data analysis by the SPSS 17.0 statistics software,before the treatment,40 patients have no differences in the sex,age and so on.①Chinese medical symptom sores:two groups have improvements (P<0.05),but better were found in Treated Group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treated group patients was 85.00%;while the controlled group was 60.00%.②Hemorheology:after treatment,two groups were have improvements in the hemorheology (blood high cut viscoaity,blood low cut viscosity,plasma viscosity) significantly,even in treated group(P<0.01),compared between two groups,better effects were found in treated group,and it has statistically significant (P<0.01).③Blood NO(Nitric Oxide):after treatment,significant improvements were found in both groups,even the better effects were found in treated group(P<0.01),compared between two groups,differences have statistically significant (P<0.05).④TCSS:afeter treatment,improvements were found two groups(P<0.01),compared between two groups,treated group has better effects,and it has statistically significant (P<0.01).⑤10g Monofilament Test:the treated group has better results than controlled group,and the difference has statistically significant (P<0.01).⑥Security:in this study,both groups have no bad reactions. Conclusion:From clinical research,it proved that TBWXF has advantages in improving the TCM symptoms,improving blood circulation.It's effective drugs for DPN characterized in blood stasis in the collaterals,so it's worth of widely using, studying deeply and developing further.
