Clinical Observation Combining Head Emotional Area And Abdominal Area-1 Of Sun’s Abdominal-Acupuncture On The Treatment For Liver-Qi Stagnation Depression

Objective:To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture on depression and analyze the results of this observations, Looking for a kind of effective method for the treatment of depression.Methods:Patients meeting the including criteria were randomly allocated to two groups. The experimental group was treated with head emotional area, abdominal area-1 of Sun’s abdominal-acupuncture, and traditional acupoints:Baihui(DU-20)、 Shenmen(HT-7)、Danzhong(Ren-17)、Neiguan(PC-5)、Sanyinjiao(SP-6)、Zhaohai(KI-6)、 Taichong(LR-3); the control group was treated with traditional acupoints:Baihui(DU-20)、 Danzhong(Ren-17)、Shenmen(HT-7)、Neiguan(PC-5)、Sanyinjiao(SP-6)、Zhaohai(KI-6)、 Taichong(LR-3). The score was recorded before the treatment, after two weeks’ treatment, after four weeks’ treatment and after six weeks’ treatment for the evaluation of the therapeutic effects. Hamilton reductive ratio and TCM symptom reductive ratio were taken to measure the results of this method.Results:Hamilton reductive ratio evaluates the results:six weeks after treatment the experimental group total effective rate was 93.33%, control group total effective rate was 82.76%, there are significant difference between this two groups(P<0.05); In TCM symptom reductive ratio evaluates the results:six weeks after treatment the experimental group total effective rate was 93.33%, control group total effective rate was 86.21%, there are significant difference between this two groups(P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.The method of combining head emotional area with abdominal area-1 of Sun’s abdominal-acupuncture on the Acupuncture treatment for Liver-qi stagnation depression has more obvious improvement effect than using traditional acupoints.2. Combining head emotional area and abdominal area-1 of Sun’s abdominal-acupuncture can improve the Hamilton score of five dimensions.
