Epidemiological Study On Stomach Cancer In Feixi County Of Anhui Province

Objective:To analyze the Stomach cancerincidence, mortality and the changing trends in Feixi County of Anhui province, therefore providing scientific reference for prevention and treatmentin rural areas.Methods:We usedthe National Cancer Registration Center of Feixi County of Anhui province to collect allnewStomach cancercasesfrom2007 to2013,and analyzed the changing trends of stomach cancerincidence and mortality.We get demographic information from the bureau of public security. Analytical methods included descriptivestatistics and Chi-square test.Result:①Crowd stomach cancer from 2007 to 2013,Feixi County average annual crude incidence was 72.25/105 (ASR of China was 52.27/105), the male was 107.04/105(ASR of China was 79.20/10), the women was 34.32/105(ASR China was 24.03/105), the incidence of male and female difference was statistically significant (χ2=1.162E3, P= 0.000);②The average crude mortality rate of stomachcancer during years was 25.73/105(ASR of China was 18.27/10), the male was 37.96/105 (ASR China was27.96/10), the women was 12.39/105(ASR of China was 8.30/10),the mortality of male and femaledifference was statistically significant (χ2=403.2, P=0.000).③The incidence of stomach cancer is low under50 age group,the incidence of stomach cancer was significantly increasing trendbetween the ages 50 to 80, from 68.88/105 in the 50-year-old groupto 607.91/105 in the 75-year-old group, the incidence of the age of 80-and 85-year-old groupis lower than the 75-year-old group.④ the mortality rates stomach cancer remain at low levels under 50 age group, more than 50 and age groupis rapidly rising trend, the mortality rate of 50-year-old groups was 16.79/103, upto273.09/105 of the 75-year-oldage group.⑤Between 2007 to 2013, the county’s gastric cancer PYLL was 15823 years. AYLL was 9.71 years. Potential Ye ars of Life Lost Rate was 2.49%o. Men’s PYLL was 8685 years. AYLL was 6.92 years. Potential Years of Life Lost Rate was 2.62 per thousand. Women’s PYLL was 4878 yea rs. AYLL was 13 years. Potential Years of Life Lost Rate was 2.62 per thousand.Conclusion:①The incidence ofgastric cancer in Anhui Province of Feixi County was higher than the national average; ②Male gastric cancer incidence and mortality rate was higher than the female;③Between the ages of 50 and 80 years, the gastric cancer incidence and mortality rate among all age groups were on the rise;④The county gastric cancer PYLL was 15823 years from 2007 to 2013. AYLL was 9.71 years. Potential Years was Life Lost Rate was 2.49%.
