The Clinical Study On Efficacy Of Bingwu Powder For The Postoperative Complications Of Hemorrhoids

ObjectiveObserve the effects of using Bingwu powder to prevent the Complication of Post-operation of hemorrhoids. This observation is to confirm the effects and safety of Bingwu powder, and set a foundation for the future research and mass scale use in the society.MethodsThe total 60 eligible patients are divided in to two different groups. Group A will use potassium permanganate, and group B will use Bingwu powder. Both two groups will be washed by their arranged medicine to wash for twenty minutes right after their surgery. All patients will be use the same medicines except their arranged medicine during the experiment time. A treatment will be one week. The doctor will ask the degree of pain, observe their anus and quantitate their situation at the first, third, and seventh day after the patients surgery. All the data will be statistically analyzed after the experiment.Results1.VAS and edema:two groups have no statistically difference after the first day(P>0.05). After three and seven days, there is significant difference between group A and group B(P<0.01).2.Bleeding symptoms:two groups have no statistically difference after the first day, the third day, and the seventh day(P>0.05).3. Traditional Chinese medicine symptoms:The clinical cure rate in group A was 56.7%, and improvement rate was 43.3%. The clinical cure rate in group B was 83.3%, and improvement rate was 16.7%. The P<0.05 after statistically analysis, which means-there are statistic meaning in this result, showing group B had a higher clinical cure rate than group A. The result shows that the effect of treatment to group B to prevent the Complication of Post-operation of hemorrhoids is much better than the effect to group A.4. Both two groups didn’t show any adverse reaction.ConclusionThe statistical result of observation and edema shows that group B, which use Bingwu powder, has a better effect on treating Complication of post-operation of hemorrhoids than group A.The statistical result of blooding symptom shows that both two groups do not have obvious effect on treating blooding symptom after the surgery.The statistical result of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms shows that group B, which use Bingwu powder, has a better effect on treating postoperative complications and accelerating the wound healing than group A.In conclusion, Bingwu powder has a better effect on treating complication of post-operation of hemorrhoids, treating postoperative complications and accelerating the wound healing than potassium permanganate, enabling using it to be a safe and convenient way in clinical situation.
