Correlation Study Of Risk Factors Of Retinal Vein Occlusion And TCM Syndrome Type

ObjectiveThe objective of the following study is to determine the incidence of retinal vein occlusion and identify the risk factors in RVO. Analysis of risk factors for retinal vein occlusion occurs, provide objective basis for clinical prevention and treatment of retinal vein occlusion.Materials and MethodsThe informention collected in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of TCM ophthalmology inpantients from January 2008 to January 2015. The control group cases also collected in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of TCM ophthalmology outpatient at the sanme time. Cases were collected, and set up the data into the computer database. Data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 17.0.ResultsThe cases group,80 cases of patients with retinal vein occlusion, the male patient is 29, the female patient is 42,the sex ratio is 0.69:1. From 24 to 83 year is the age range. Five people were less than 30 years old.T here are 16 people in the range from 30 to 50 years old. Fifty cases were more than 50 years old. The onset of retinal vein occlusion have signific ant relationship with hypertension, disbetes, elevated total cholesterol an d trilycerides. Therefore they are the risk fators of retinal vein occlusi on(P<0.05). On the other side, glaucoma and platelet count level is not th e risk factors of retinal vein occlusion(P>0.05).There are six TCM syndro me types in the cases group.ConclusionRetinal vein occlusion is the result of many factors. This research sh ows that hypertension, disbetes and dyslipidemia is the risk factors of re tinal vein occlusion. History of glaucoma and platelet count level is not the risk factors of retinal vein occlusion. Analysing from the result of T CM syndrome types, qizhixueyu is the most commonly. In turn,is qixuxueyu, ta nyuhujie,pixushifan, ganshenkuixu and xinpiliangxu.
