| Objective:To investigate demographic characteristics and systemic and local risk factors of RVO patients hospitalized in No.1Affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. Method:We used retrospective case-control study. The case group included93untreated RVO patients who were diagnosed by FFA or retinal photograph. The compare group included93healthy patients with age, sex and race matched with case group. RVO differentiated as CRVO and BRVO according to the ocular fundus sign. We used statistic method to compare the association between each risk factors and RVO. Results:RVO is vision-damaged and not infrequent in40and older population. The hypertension (OR5.963;95%CI:2.438-14.586), lower HDL (OR53.167;95%CI:13.277-212.905) is significantly frequent in case group than in compare group, but diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, higher LDL, glaucoma and smoking habits are not quite related to RVO(p>0.05). There were more male and low vision acuity patients in CRVO than BRVO group. Conclusion:Hpertension and lower HDL are independent risk factors of RVO, it is very important to deal with systemic diseases to prevent RVO. |
