ObjectiveIn this study, a randomized controlled method, clinical efficacy of fire needle on’jing three zhen" point in the treatment of CSR were observed and compared with single electric needle. Inorder to provide a reference for the selection and clinical selection of points CSR fire needle treatment programs.Methods60 patients with CSR were recruited from the acupuncture department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. The 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, which were basis on the electroacupuncture treatment that Select the Feng Chi, Bai Lao, Da Zhu, Jia Ji while Hou Xi of the affected side. Feng men, Feng fu were added in syndrome of wind and cold blocking collaterals, while Ge shu, Xue hai were added in syndrome of Qi stagnation and blood stasis, while Feng Long, Zu San Li were added in syndrome of Sputum and Wet blocking collaterals, while Gan Shu, Shen Shu were added in syndrome of Liver and Kidney inadequate. EA treatment: one times a day, six times for a course of treatment breaks one day and Were treated with 2 courses; Fire needle treatment:on the first day of each course, the three days, the five days for a second, respectively, two courses of a total line of fire needle prick six times. The treatment group received fire needle on Tian Zhu, Bai Lao and Da Zhu. The efficacy was measured by NPQ and symptoms-signs 20 points drafts.Results60 subjects complete the study,30 of treatment group,30 of control group. The General information on two groups of patients showed no significant difference. General efficacy of the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).Scores of NPQ and symptoms-signs 20 points drafts decreased significantly of the two groups (P<0.01).Difference of NPQ scores before and after treatments for the two groups were of no significant difference(P >0.05). Difference of symptoms-signs 20 points for the two groups were of significant difference(P<0.01).Difference between treatment group and conventional group were of statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions1. Fire needling on Jing Three Zhen Points combined with electroacupuncture, and electroacupuncture have common efficacy in treating CSR. The overall effect of fire needling on Jing Three Zhen Points combined with electroacu puncture were more effective than electroacupuncture.2. In decrease of NPQ scores, fire needling Jing Three Zhen Points combined with electroacupuncture were more effective than electroacupuncture.3. In relief of symptoms and signs, fire needling Jing Three Zhen Points combined with electroacupuncture were more effective than electroacu puncture...
