Objective: through the use of acupotomy combined with thermal moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation clinical research, investigate the acupotomy with thermal moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation clinical therapeutic effect and advantages, and further analysis to investigate the acupotomy with the mechanism of thermal moxibustion treatment of lumbar protrusion of the intervertebral disc, which provides more optimized treatment plans and ideas for the clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods: during the period of January 2014 to January 2015 in Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined with orthopedic hospital, Department of acupuncture and moxibustion and admitted in our hospital from lumbar disc herniation were, prior to the visiting sequence number, according to the random number table method were randomly divided into 2 groups, one of the study group( 40 cases), use of acupotomy heat sensitive moxibustion treatment: acupotomy in the treatment of five days once, for 4 times in total, thermal moxibustion once a day, 20 days of treatment; control group(40 cases), treated with acupuncture and Moxibustion: treatment once a day for 20 days. The changes of JOA score and VAS score in two groups were observed before and after treatment.Result:1. Visual analogue pain score method(VAS): two groups before and after treatment compared by t test, in the 2 groups before treatment, after comparison all P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant; between the two groups using analysis of variance, the difference is statistically significant, the analgesic effect of treatment group was better than that of the control group. 2. The JOA score: in the 2 groups before and after treatment compared by t test all P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant; between the two groups using analysis of variance, P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, the treatment group of acupuncture is superior to that of the control group. 3 comprehensive efficacy: 2 groups of treatment 20 days after the use of JOA score improve rate to determine the efficacy, after Ridit analysis, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, the treatment group than the acupuncture control group.Conclusion:1 Acupotomy with thermal moxibustion group and acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation has good curative effect, and through the comparison between the treatment group, Acupotomy combined with thermal moxibustion group has the advantage of curative effect. 2 Acupotomy with thermal moxibustion group and acupuncture group of lumbar disc herniation with prominent backleg pain caused a significant role in mitigation, and through the comparison between the treatment group, Acupotomy combined with thermal moxibustion group has the advantage of curative effect. 3 Acupotomy with thermal moxibustion group and acupuncture group treated patients, good safety, local hemorrhage, pain, acupuncture syncope. Both group were no obvious neurological symptoms. 4 Acupotomy combined with thermal moxibustion with each other can dredge main and collateral channels, conglutination, tonic warmingchannelstodispel cold blood stasis effect. The combination of the two can improve the efficacy, but no obvious side effect.
