Comparsion Of Postoperative Visual Effect Of Tetraflex Accommodative, ReSTOR+3D And Tecnis Multifocal IOL

Objective To study the visual effect of the three different types of intraocular lens, Tetraflex accommodative intraocular lens(AIOL),Re STOR+3D apodized diffractive multifocal intraocular lens(MIOL),and Tecnis ZMA00 diffractive multifocal intraocular lens(MIOL).Methods Patients with simple age-related cataract, who had the same kinds of intraocular lens in bilateral implantation with total records and questionnaire, were selected. The patients were followed up for 3 to 6 months. Thirty eight patients who received phacoemulsification and IOL implantation were divided into three groups : Tetraflex group with 26 eyes of 13 patients,Re STOR+3D group with 28 eyes of 14 patients and Tecnis group with 22 eyes of 11 patients. The high illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(HIUDVA), the low illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(LIUDVA) were observed among the three groups 1 day、1 months and 3 months postoperatively, the uncorrected intermediated visual acuity(UIVA) in 70 cm and the uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA) in 30 cm were observed among the three groups 3 months postoperatively, the night glare and halos and the degree of reading satisfaction were recorded among the three groups 3 months and 6 months postoperatively by using a structure questionnaire. Comparative study of the three groups, and the results of the study group were statistical analysis by using SPSS Advanced Statistical 16.0 Software.Results There were no statistically significant differences in the high illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(HIUDVA) among the three groups 1 day、1 months and 3 months postoperatively(F=0.027,P>0.05, F=0.16,P>0.05, F=0.136,P>0.05). while there were statistically significant differences in the low illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(LIUDVA)(F=13.094, P<0.05, F=13.858, P<0.05, F=13.357,P<0.05),the patients in the Tetraflex and Tecnis groups had better visual acuity than Re STOR+3D group. There were statistically significant differences in the uncorrected intermediate visual acuity(UIVA) in 70 cm distance among the three groups 3 months postoperatively(F=25.904, P<0.05), the patients in the Tetraflex group had better than the Re STOR+3D and Tecnis groups,and there were statistically significant differences in the uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA) in 30cm(F=16.820, P<0.05),the patients in the Tecnis group had better than Re STOR+3D and Tetraflex groups. The night glare and halos for all patients, the different between the Re STOR+3D group and the Tetraflex and Tecnis groups was significant(H=9.559, P<0.05).The degree of reading satisfaction: The difference in the spectacle independence and the satisfactory near vision between the Tetraflex group and the Re STOR+3D and Tecnis groups was also significant(F=13.693, P<0.01, F=15.073, P<0.01), no significant difference in the satisfactory distance vision was found among the three groups(F=0.052, P>0.05).Conclusion(1)Three kinds of intraocular lens can provided better in the high illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(HIUDVA). There were different advantages and disadvantages in the low illumination uncorrected distance visual acuity(LIUDVA) and the uncorrected intermediate visual acuity(UIVA) in 70 cm, Tecnis ZMA00 MIOL had better than Re STOR+3D MIOL in the low illumination uncorrected distance visual(LIUDVA) and the uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA) in 30 cm.Tetraflex AIOL had better than Re STOR+3D and Tecnis ZMA00 MIOL in the uncorrected intermediate visual acuity(UIVA) in 70 cm.Re STOR+3D MIOL had higher than Tecnis ZMA00 MIOL and Tetraflex AIOL in the night glare and halos.Tetraflex AIOL had worse in the degree of reading satisfaction.(2) As the choice of correcting presbyopia, there is no kind of intraocular lens to really satisfy every patients, the specific choice of the need to choose their own intraocular lens according to the actual situation of patients. Because of the time and the number of samples and the experimental conditions limits, so the long-term effect of three kinds of intraocular lens remains to be further observation and research.
