A Study About Undergraduates Training Quality Standard In Public(health) Management Professional Under The Orientation Of Excellence

Objective In this research, from the reality of public(health) management education, in order to establish a professional health management team as a guide and use “excellence plan” which emphasize quality of personnel training concept for the lead, as well as take into account the public and industry-specific characteristics in public(health) management professional and combine with competency features, consult experts on the basis of literature consulting, our study is targeted on building undergraduates training quality standard system in public(health) management professional under the orientation of excellence from the perspective of education results. Then, implement an application study between undergraduate students and previous graduates of public(health) management, in order to test and verify the feasibility of this quality standard system, which provide reference for improving the public health management talent training quality.Methods The relevant concepts were defined based on the literatures and theoretical reviews. We arranged the talents training goal of 20 colleges and formulated the preliminary standard indicators of the training program.24 theory and practice experts of health management from universities, government departments, and public hospitals were selected, and finalized the undergraduates training quality standard system by using the Delphi method. Use the superiority chart determines the weight of the first class index. Then calculate the weight of the second class index, the third class index and the combination of three kind of index., form a complete personnel training quality standard system of undergraduate public(health) service management professional. Implement an application study to test and verify the consistency of the evaluation results by assessment and evaluation between a medical public health management professional college undergraduate students and previous graduates. Undergraduate students in grade 2011 two classes for the study of the overall, among the 61 randomly selected 40 as the research object. We selected 40 previous graduates who work in consulting experts place unit, then, let the expert choice public health management professional graduates 1-2.Results On the basis of expert consultation and statistics analysis, we establish an undergraduates training quality standard system in public(health) management professional under the orientation of excellence, the system including 3 first class indexes, 9 second class indexes and 33 third class indexes; applying the index system in a medical public health management professional college undergraduate students and previous graduates, by Self-assessment and evaluation of the employer found that the score were similar On the whole, in the 33 third class index, there are significant differences exist among 14 index 1 by the T-test.Conclusion The undergraduates training quality standard in public(health) management,in order to establish a professional health management team as a guide and use “excellence plan” which emphasize quality of personnel training concept for the lead, was confirmed to be scientific and feasible.The new built undergraduates training quality standard system can more accurately reflect as a result of the education and health management professional undergraduate training quality, and provided a reference to improve public(health) business management professional undergraduate course personnel training quality. Due to the limit of the researcher’s own level, the undergraduates training quality standard in public(health) management major under the orientation of excellence need to be refined and improved constantly in the future.
