Objectives:To study the relationship of bone mineral density (BMD) with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in adult male.Process:Based on the investigation of Fangchenggang Area Male Healthy and Examination Survey (FAMHES),2001 people take calcaneal bone mineral density measurement of ultrasound, according to the diagnostic criteria of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and matching of age divided into NAFLD group and control group (444 cases in the NAFLD group and 444 cases in control group), data of physical examinations, laboratory tests, hepatic ultrasounds and standardized questionnaire were collected.ResuIts:The level ofweight, body mass index(BMI), waist, hip, systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP), fasting blood glucose(FBG), glycosylated hemoglobin, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein (LDL), total protein(TP), albumin(ALB), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), uric acid(UA) in NAFLD group were significantly higher than that in control group. The T-score态Stiffness (STI) were significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05). Age, TC, LDL, NAFLD were negatively correlated with T-score, BMI, creatinine were positively correlated with T-score(P< 0.05).Adjust to age and BMI, NAFLD was also negatively correlated with T-score. The regression analysis showed NAFLD was a risk factor for bone loss. Conclusion:BMD in patients with NAFLD was lower than that in the control group, NAFLD was negatively with bone density, NAFLD is the important risk factor for bone mass.
