Objective1. To understand the PICC Guangxi two or three grade hospital (peripherally inserted central catheter) situation Master the related knowledge of PICC.2. To understand the situation and influence factors of nursing staff.3. nurses of PICC related knowledge training intervention knowledge change.Methods1. This study selected 2014 January ～2014 in June in Guangxi were investigated on 20 level three hospitals,20 grade two hospital,questionnaires,the questionnaire is based on topic needed is developed based on alargea mounto fliterature and expert opinion on the "Guangxi all levels of hospital PICC Development Questionnaire", content includes general information and PICC Guangxi two or three grade hospital catheter technology development,the aimisto understand the development situation, influencing factors and development prospect of Guangxi two or three grade hospital in PICC.2.2014 February ～2014yearinAugust to choose the degree of master of PICC related knowledge investigation in 169nursing staff in two or three tertiary hospitals in Guangxi, the questionnaire is in the literature and expert advice on the basis of the self compiled "the nursing staff of PICC related knowledge questionnaire" include sgeneral information and the relative knowledge of PICC two parts, analyzing and mastering degree of each level,the different situation of nursing staff on PICC related knowledge.3. In 2014 August-2014 year In November 3 select training intervention for PICC related knowledge in 30 nurses working in oncology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, and compared before and after the intervention of PICC related knowledge change the situation, the data for the same questionnaire.The data obtained using the Excel and SPSS 16.0 statistical soft ware package was used for statistical analysis, the main use of descriptive analysis, t test, chi square test, single factor analysis and multifactor analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis for processing,P<0.05, thought to have statistical significance.Result1. In 40 hospitals,1 in the survey, a total of 28 has been carried out for PICC tube,12 has not yet been carried out, of which three of the 20 hospitals, two hospitals have 8; PICC catheter technique is mainly used for a long time of catheterization, large stimulation chemotherapy treatment,, patients need long-term need fluid infusion, peripheral venous access in patients without total parenteral nutrition treatment needs of patients. PICC catheter technology departments have at least 1 up to 19, the Department of internal medicine, Department of Hematology, Department of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, ICU, neurological department of internal medicine, division of gastroenterology at most application; 18 hospital officially launched B ultrasound guided catheterization of PICC technology.2. PICC access status:This study survey has been carried out in 28 hospitals of PICC technology have developed PICC catheter nursing personnel qualification standards:Education:technical secondary school 3 (10.70%),20 (71.41%) of Higher Vocational College/Bachelor degree or above,5 (17.91%); job requirements:nurse, charge nurses (89.31%) (10.72%); requirements work experience:3 years or above in 8 (28.57%),16 (57.14%) of 5 years,10 years and 4 (14.28%); qualification requirements:19 (67.8%) hospital nursing staff engaged in PICC technology must be hold PICC nursing staff qualification certificate,7 (25%) of PICC hospital nursing staff have the corresponding qualification certificates required.3. To Guangxi two or three hospitals of 169 different level of nursing staff in PICC related knowledge of statistics, the score of <9 points (out of 15) of the 38 accounted for 22.48%, a score of 9 to 12 of the 75 accounted for 44.37%, the score was>12 points 37 the proportion of 21.87%%, the score was>13.5 points of 19 accounted for 11.24%, the score of <9 (percentage of 60) is poor,9 to 12 (from 60 to 80 percentage points) to 12 (percentage of 80,13.5 to 90) for>13.5 (benign, the percentage of 90) the optimal (total score 15), PICC related knowledge of nursing staff in high proportion is less, the knowledge needs further study, improve.4. training intervention work of Guangxi two or three hospital 84 nurses who were PICC related knowledge and the knowledge level was significantly better than that of before intervention, P<0.05, was considered statistically significant.Conclusion1. Guangxi two grade, three grade hospital to carry out the situation that there are some differences in PICC, which carry out PICC tube, formulate a unified PICC tube specification process, PICC catheter nursing staff of the minimum work experience, unified PICC related records, whether to have PICC qualification certificate, whether to carry out the B ultrasound guided PICC tube etc. comparison of the differences are significant, statistically significant P<0.05.2. nurses’ knowledge of PICC master degree of overall satisfactory but still need to be further improved.3. of the nursing staff of PICC related knowledge training intervention is helpful to improve the degree of mastering the knowledge, which can reduce the catheter complication sand improve the satisfaction degre.
