Part one Correlation analysis on autoimmune factors and natural course ofchronic pancreatitisObjective: Pathogenic factors of chronic pancreatitis(CP) have not yet clear, so the pathogenic constituent ratio of CP in China still needs to be further studied and discussed. What is more, there are no related studies on autoimmune factors of chronic pancreatitis. Therefore, this study aims to define correlation of autoimmune factors and the chronic pancreatitis, providing a new method and direction for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pancreatitis. Methods: At the beginning of 2008, our department has executed normal immune system examination of our hospital among chronic pancreatitis patients. There are 25 immune detection and analysis measurements, patient’s clinical examination and test results were recorded in detail, following-up the natural course of every patient. All data have been recorded into related database. Results: A total of 409 patients accepted autoimmune detection. There were 48 cases patients with positive anti-β2-GPI, accounted for 11.7%. In 48 positive cases we can predict distribution of anti-β2-GPI value in those patients was from 33.40 to 43.63RU/ml(95% CI), which was significantly higher than normal reference value(normal reference value isles than or equal to 20RU/ml).Anti-cardiolipin antibody of six patients was positive, accounted for 1.4%; Anti-double stranded DNA antibody in eight patients was positive, accounted for 1.9%.The rest had no positive the immune index. Conclusions: Among these immune testing indexes, only positive rate of the anti-β2-GPI was higher than normal healthy people, which was uncorrelated to anticardiolipin antibody and anti-double stranded DNA antibody, but associated with abnormal development of pancreas.Part two Nutritional Research on Chronic PancreatitisObjective: For there was no nutrition related research about chronic pancreatitis patients in China and lacking of relevant treatments, this study aimed at improving nutritionalstatus in chronic pancreatitis patients, maintaining function of the pancreas, and relieving patient’s abdominal pain by analyzing chronic pancreatitis patients’ nutrition status, and designing medicinal food in accordance with Chinese nutritional status of patients with chronic pancreatitis. Methods: Systemic analyzing related research about assessment and diagnosis and treatment of nutrition of chronic pancreatitis patients overseas, and based on the actual situation from investigation and tests of our department patients, we designed nutrition products to meet the needs of chronic pancreatitis patients, and recruited chronic pancreatitis patients associated with malnutrition taking this product regularly for a long time for judging effect of this product. Results: Patients with chronic pancreatitis are widespread accompanied by malnutrition, usually performing lacking of variety of fat-soluble vitamins, zinc and other trace elements. And there existing related reports about compound preparation for treating chronic pancreatitis patients with malnutrition, abdominal pain and other symptoms, this kind of compound medicinal food designed by our own is scientific and practical, which is suitable for chronic pancreatitis patients in China. Conclusion: we are optimistic about outcomes by summarizing comprehensive studies abroad and have faith in this kind of compound preparation which will become a new way of treating malnutrition in chronic pancreatitis in China.
