ObjectiveThis study is aimed at evaluating the safety of breast-feeding newborns, whose mothers were test positive for HB virus markers. The newborns were immunized by a combination of hepatitis B vaccine and anti-hepatis B immunoglobulin passively. It is safety that the newborns were test negative for HB virus markers after a year. MethodsMethodsReviewing the previous medical record,we screen the information of maternal include:HBs Ag、HBs Ab、HBe Ag、HBe Ab、HBc Ab、HBV-DNA、delivery mode、neonatal weight、gender。According our criteria, the remaining 190 patients were randomly divided into two groups.90 cases in the breast-feeding(including mixed feeding) group, and 100 cases in the artificial feeding group. All of the neonate were completed a combination immunotherapy within 24 h,and then had the inoculation of hepatitis B vaccine as the mode of 0-1-6.The newborns were test the HB virus markers when they were 1 year’s old. ResultsResultsConclusionThere were 4 cases infected of HB virus in the caesarean group. And there were 7 cases in the spontaneous labor group. The infection rate of the two group was 6.25% and 5.47% respectively. No significant differences were found between the 2 groups(x2=0.726,P>0.05). There were 5 cases infected of HB virus in the breast-feeding group. And there were 6 cases in the artificial feeding group. The infection rate of the two group was 5.5% and 6.0% respectively. No significant differences were found between the 2 groups(x2=3.51,P>0.05). Conclusiondelivery modedelivery modedelivery modedelivery modedelivery modedelivery modedelivery mode Different kind of delivery mode has no significant influence on infecting HB virus of neonate. After formal combination immunotherapy, the rate of infection will not arise on account of bread-feeding.There is no significant difference of maternal-inflantile between artificial feeding and breast-feeding.
