Clinical Research On The Infants With Brain-Damage-Syndrome By The Combination Of Xingnao Acupuncture And NGF Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy

BackgroundBrain-Damage-Syndrome was first proposed by Professor Dehoff, which was an early diagnosis of the high risk infants before they was diagnosed as the cerebral palsy, mental retardation, language retardation, mental behavior problems, etc. Brain damage syndrome is an important concept, as when we use the diagnosis we can have long-term follow-up and early intervention treatment for the high risk infants. As the same time, how to have a right diagnosis for the infants before one year old is a quit difficult thing, so when we use the concept of BDS we can conduct the early intervention treatment, reduce the psychological burden of parents. The comprehensive intervention method of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine is the mainstream of rehabilitation in China, and its effect is sure.We should keep on exploring how we choose the rehabilitation methods and use the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine so that the BDS can have better results.ObjectiveThis study was a randomized controlled trial to observe the effects of three early intervention rehabilitation methods. We observed the effects of the basic early intervention rehabilitation added the Xingnao acupuncture and NGF acupuncture point injection therapy to explore that whether the combination had synergistic effect, compared with the effects of the basic early intervention rehabilitation added the Xingnao acupuncture or NGF acupuncture point injection therapy.MethodsThrough randomized controlled method trials,120cases of children with BDS were divided into three groups, each group 40 cases. Finally,110 cases were available, group one of 37cases, group two of 37cases,the three group of 36cases. The group one conduct the basic early intervention rehabilitation added the Xingnao acupuncture and NGF acupuncture point injection therapy, the group two conduct the basic early intervention rehabilitation added NGF acupuncture point injection therapy, the group three conduct the basic early intervention rehabilitation added the Xingnao acupuncture. The basic early intervention rehabilitation include PT, music therapy, the spa combined with Chinese medicine, audio-visual therapy.20 days of treatment is a period of treatment, between two period of treatments should have 15 to 20 days for rest. The trial should take 3 period of treatment. Begin and after the treatment,we should conduct these checks for evaluation of brain damage syndrome of the intelligence level, motor function, the electrophysiology, such as the Bailey infant development scale, Gesell developmental scale, the gross motor function assessment scale (GMFM-88),VEP, BAEP.All data would be analyzed by the SPSS19.0.Results1、 Begin the trial, three group basic date (such as gender, gestational age, birth-weight, age, weight, head circumference, muscle tension, intelligence, gross and fine motor function and language function) were compared. The results showed the all they had no statistical significance(P>0.05).2>After the trial, the three groups score of MAS (Modif ied-Ashworth-Scale) and Vojta posture reflection had no statistical significance (P> 0.05). After the trial, the three groups score of MDI and PDI of Bailey infant development scale had statistical significance (P<0.05) and the group one score was improved obviously. After the trial, the three groups score of social adaptation DQ, gross motor DQ, fine motor DQ of Gesell scale had statistical significance(P<0.05) and the group one score was improved obviously. The language DQ, personal adaption DQ had no statistical significance (P>0.05). After the trial, the three groups score of B zone and total score of GMFM-88 scale had statistical significance (P<0.05) and the group one score was improved obviously. The A zone score had no statistical significance (P>0.05). After the trial, the three group normal rate of BAEP, VEP, TCD had statistical significance (P<0.05) and the group one normal rate was improved obviously.3、The comparison of each group before and after treatment on the score of MAS (Modified-Ashworth-Scale) and Vojta posture reflection, score of Gesell scale (social adaptation DQ, gross motor DQ, fine motor DQ, language DQ, personal adaption DQ), GMFM-88(A zone, B zone, total score)all had statistical significance (P<0.05).ConelusionTo sum up, integrated early intervention has the very good effect on the BDS. The combination of Xingnao acupuncture and NGF acupuncture point injection have synergistic effect on the improvement of the intelligence level, motor function, normal rate of the electrophysiology. So we can draw a safe conclusion the combination of Xingnao acupuncture and NGF acupuncture point injection is an effective, safe and convenient method and worth promoting.
