ObjectiveThe incidence of osteoporosis in older men increase year by year, has been a worldwide problem which cannot be ignored. Low bone mineral density is one of the main reasons for cause osteopsathyrosis bone fractures. The traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of osteoporosis prevention plays a certain role.By clinical epidemiological investigation and data analysis of the knowledge of the associated risk factors that affect bone mineral density and bone mineral density and the correlation of TCM syndrome types. It for the early prevention of osteoporosis and give some reference to improve the effect of the treatment of osteoporosis.Methods(1) Selected≥80-year-old patients from May 2014 to September 2014 in Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Area Command, the average age of 85.8+3.6. According to the BMD results were divided into osteoporosis group(126 cases in OPG), normal bone mass group(179 cases in NBG). Strict accordance with the inclusion criteria, The object of study on the questionnaire included:weight, height, Body mass index, living habits, Past medical history, history of drug and so on. And according to the correlation of all four examinations of TCM, it can be divided into the kidney-Yang deficiency, Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency, spleen-kidney-yang deficiency And Qi Stagnation Blood Stasis;(2)Factors influencing collected for osteoporosis and TCM syndrome type distribution were analyzed, and find the contact;(3)All data using statistical software EpiDate 3.1 summarize entry, a nd USES the double entry to proofread. Date were analyzed using SPSS19.0. Continuous data were expressed ae mean ±standard error, Using single fact or analysis of variance is compared between groups, Analysis of each type of syndrome differences in bone mineral density changes, influencing facto rs of osteoporosis using Logistic regression analysis,inspection level a=0.05, P<0.05 difference was statistically significant.Results(1)The L2-4 mean BMD results in OPG is 1.287±0.311,1.199±0.306 in NBG, much higher than the BMD of femoral neck and Trochanter, Consider of the bone hyperplasia, so abandon it, use the the BMD of femoral neck and Trochanter as standard diagnosis and grouping, the BMD of femoral neck and Trochanter and weight compared in the two groups have statistical significance;(2) the proportion of tea, drinking, smoking, exercise and milk in OPG compare with in NBG there is a difference which is statistically significant. The proportion of people drink coffee in NBG higher than in OPG, but there was no statistical significance.(3)treat "whether osteoporosis" as dependent variable, put weight, tea, drinking, smoking, exercise and milk into the binary Logistic model analysi s,Alcohol intake as a risk factor for osteoporosis in the elderly was sta tistically significant (B=0.803, P<0.05); exercise (B=-0.454) and drinking m ilk(B=-1.103) are protection factor in osteoporosis are statistically sig nificant;(4)OP in the proportion of the total number is 41.3%;BMD in NBG:Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency (32.4%)>the kidney-Yang deficiency (30.7%)>spleen-kidney-yang deficiency (18.4%) andQi Stagnation Blood Stasis (18.4%); BM D in OPG:Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency (32.5%)>the kidney-Yang deficiency (3 0.2%)>spleen-kidney-yang deficiency (19.0%)>Qi Stagnation Blood Stasis (1 8.4%)(5)the kidney-Yang deficiency, Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency and spleen-kidney-yang deficiency compared with Qi Stagnation Blood Stasis respectiv ely, femoral neck BMD in OPG compare with it in NBG, the kidney-Yang defici ency (P<0.05) and Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency (P<0.05) have statisticall y significant compare with Qi Stagnation Blood Stasis;for trochanter BMD, compare with Qi Stagnation Blood Stasis, Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency (P<0. 05) have statistically significant, show an association between syndrome di fferentiation of TCM and bone density.Conelusion(1)Men over the age of 80 should not be used lumbar spine BMD to diagnose osteoporosis, recommend the use of the femoral neck and great trochanter bone mineral density;(2)The elderly in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis should moderate exercise and drink more milk, and avod alcohol intake;(3)TCM syndrome type has certain correlation with osteoporosis, in men over the age of 80 liver and Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency and the kidney-Yang deficiency are higher and prone to osteoporosis, for better prevention and treatment of osteoporosis we should pay more attention to them.
