The Clinical Observation Of Modified Wendan Decoction On Micro-inflammation State Of CKD3

ObjectiveTo observe the efficiency and safety of Modified WenDan Decoction on relevesing Micro-inflammation State of Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD)3th stage, besides to provide new evidence and methods for traditional Chinese medicine research in treating Micro-inflammatory states.MethodsSimple randomized controlled clinical study of qualified patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group in this study, treatment group included 28 cases and control group included 25 cases. Both groups were given basic treatment, which consist of lower blood lipids, control blood pressure, improve renal circulation, correct electrolyte and acid-base balance of calcium and phosphorus metabolism, improve anemia and other medicine treatment. Patients of the treatment group also accecpted Modified WenDan decoction. After eight weeks, through collecting and observation of clinical symptoms、hypersensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)、cystatin C(CysC), blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Scr)、 cholesterol(CHOL)、triglycerides(TG)、low density lipoprotein(LDL), high density lipoprotein (HDL)、 albumin (ALB) and Hemoglobin (HGB) other changes of two group when they were before and after treatment, to further research of efficacy and safety of Modified Wendan Decoction on CKD3 of micro-inflammation.ResultsClinical symptoms of the treatment group and control group of patients were relieved after treatment, and treatment group were efficient than the control group, which difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05). Compared with the same group, hs-CRP levels of treatment group decreased after treatment, which defference was statistically significant (P<0.05), but difference of hs-CRP in control group was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). between the two groups difference of hs-CRP was statistically significant (P<0.05). The treatment group and the control group of patients CHOL, TG, LDL, HDL comparison of changes in the treatment group than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01).Comparison of CHOL, TG, LDL, HDL between treatment group and control group, the treatment group was more efficient than the control group, which difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or P< 0.01).Treated patients after treatment reduced Scr, BUN, CysC level, compared with the control group, the defference of Scr, BUN, CysC indicators was no significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment, patients ALB, HGB levels elevated, and compared with the control group, the defference of ALB was statistically significant (P<0.05), but HGB had no significant difference (P>0.05). Groups of hs-CRP was positively correlated with Scr、BUN、CysC、CHOL and LDL, and obvious negative correlation with ALB、HGB, but the correlation with TG、HDL was not statistically significant (P>0.05), which mean levels of hs-CRP the higher and the more obvious declining in renal function, dyslipidemia; the higher the level of hs-CRP, the lower the blood levels of HGB and ALB.ConclusionWith the basis of the treatment, taking Modified Wendan decoction can significantly alleviate micro-inflammation of CKD3 patients and improve clinical symptoms、kidney function、dyslipidemia、anemia and nutitional status.
