ObjectiveThrough randomized controlled method to explore the clinical efficacy, safety and repeatability of acupuncture combined with Balance Cupping Therapy in the treatment of liver qi stagnation type of generalized anxiety disorder.MethodsThis study Strictly accordance to the inclusion criteria and were discharged standard income in 62 cases of liver qi stagnation type of generalized anxiety disorder, using randomized controlled methods,62 patients were divided by 1:1 acupuncture and cupping group and acupuncture group,31 cases in each group, the acupuncture group was given acupuncture treatment, treatment 3 times a week,4 weeks for a course of treatment; to acupuncture and cupping group, the acupuncture method was the same as the control group, to balance Cupping treatment,1 times a week, Continuous treatment for 4 weeks for a course of treatment. observed the Hamilton Anxiety Scale table (HAMA) and self rating scale (SAS) and TCM Syndromes of quantity scale, before and after treatment as well as follow-up (after the end of treatment 4 weeks),calculating the efficiency of HAMA reduction rate, establish database for statistical analysis and evaluate clinical effect and safety of acupuncture combined with balance cupping therapy, also of the HAMA, SAS and TCM Syndrome Scale.Results1 Case situation:This study get together 62 cases of patients, and 2 cases occurred during the course of the experiment, including 1 cases of needle cupping group,1 cases of the treatment caused by traveling interruption,60 cases were the final complete.2 Baseline comparison:the two groups of patients in the gender, age, course, HAMA, SAS and TCM Syndrome Scale and other general information on the baseline level, there is no statistical significance (P>0.05), the group has comparability.3 Clinical curative effect:after 4 weeks of treatment, the acupuncture and cupping group recovered in 3 cases,10 cases were markedly effective, effective in 13 cases,4 cases were ineffective, a total of 30 cases, clinical total effective rate was 86.67%; acupuncture group recovered in 1 case,3 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,11 cases were ineffective, a total of 30 cases. The total clinical efficiency of 63.33%. The total effe-ctive rate of the two groups was significantly different (P<0.01), indicating that the clinical effect of the acupuncture and cupping group was better than that of the acupuncture 1 group.4 Evaluation index:compared with before treatment, patients in the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment, HAMA, SAS, TCM syndrome amount table scores were decreased (P<0.05); the acupuncture and cupping group in improving HAMA, SAS, TCM Syndrome Scale score is better than that of the acupuncture group (P<0.05); after the end of the treatment, the patients in the two groups 4 weeks follow-up and treatment of HAMA, SAS, TCM syndrome amount table score difference, the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05), show that short-term effect in the acupuncture and cupping group is better.5 Safety evaluation:acupuncture and cupping group occurred in 2 cases subcutaneous congestion,1 cases was treated with acupuncture skin irritation and 2 cases after cupping back muscle pain discomfort,1 case of cupping back skin from small blisters; in the acupuncture group, there were 2 cases of subcutaneous congestion,1 cases was treated with acupuncture skin irrita-tion,2 cases of acupuncture end limb weakness. The adverse events of two groups by chi square test, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The adverse reactions of two groups were not on the treatment effect and the patient’s physical and mental health have a significant negative impact, and did not affect the treatment process. Conclusion1 Acupuncture combined with Balance Cupping in the treatment of liver qi stagnation type of generalized anxiety disorder clinical curative effect is superior to that of simple acupuncture treatment, acupuncture and cupping combined with can greatly reduce HAMA and SAS score, TCM syndrome when the amount of scale.2 The therapy combined balance Cupping with acupuncture is safe and effective, worthy of clinical promotion.
