Hospital Drug Intelligent Management System Construction

Medical health is related to millions of people’s health and happiness. Though there are numerous medical and health institutions in our country (hospitals are nearly 25 thousands), drugs circulation management technology lags behind that of developed countries obviously. And most of the hospital drugs management still adopts the traditional pattern by using manual bookkeeping ways, which lead to high labor intensity and low work efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to design the information management system of hospital pharmacy.In this article, we design a hospital medicine intelligent management system according to China hospital drug management by analyzing the current situation and differences of hospital drug management in China and abroad. Firstly, we aim at the goal of hospital drug intelligent management system by combining with the problems existing in the hospital medicine management and the actual demand. Based on this, we determine the structure of the system. The structure of the system technology consists of five parts, including basic IT layer, database layer, business support layer, core business layer and external interface layer. And the structure of the system function includes hospital pharmaceutical logistics management system, ward drug intelligent distribution system, drug intelligent delivery system in emergency and out-patient department and cold chain management system. Through the analysis of the commonly used software and hardware technology in China and abroad, we choose the required software and hardware equipment and complete the hospital drug intelligence management system finally.From the preliminary results, it is seen that the system improves the patient safety and the efficiency of drug circulation in hospital and reduces the operating costs. All those improve the quality of hospital health service and promote the informationization and specialization level of hospital medicine management.
