Objectives: In this study, we observe the effect and the pros and cons of atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in laparoscopic kidney cancer radical surgery. We are looking for the best way of wound drainage in laparoscopic kidney cancer radical surgery in order to guide clinical application.Methods: From October 2013 to December 2014,we retrospectively studied the patients from the second hospital of Hebei University who underwent laparoscopic kidney cancer radical surgery. The patients can be divided into the observation group and the control group.The observation group is the patients who processed atmospheric drainage through drainage pipe jointing anti regurgitation drainage bag. The control group is the patients who processed negative pressure drainage through drainage pipe jointing sterile silicon ball which squeezed the air out.We statistically analyzed the observed indicators such as postoperative daily traffic, nursing time needed for drainage, the tube time after surgery, and the related complications of drainage.Results:1 Compare daily trafficThe results showed : there is some statistical differences between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the first traffic(t=-1.98,P=0.03<0.05);there is some statistical differences between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the second traffic(t=-2.79,P=0.01<0.05);there is some statistical differences between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the third traffic(t=-2.54,P=0.01<0.05);there is some statistical differences between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the forth traffic(t=-1.50,P=0.04<0.05);there is no statistical difference between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the fifth traffic(t=-1.48,P=0.14>0.05);there is no statistical difference between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in the sixth traffic(t=-1.23,P=0.22>0.05).2 Compare the nursing time needed for drainageThere are some statistical differences between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in daily nursing time needed for drainage(t=-14.294, P=0.000<0.01) and total nursing time needed for drainage(t=-9.796,P=0.000<0.01), and the nursing time needed for drainage of the atmospheric pressure drainage group is less than negative pressure drainage group.3 Compare tube timeThere is no statistical difference between atmospheric pressure drainage and negative pressure drainage in and the tube time after surgery(t=0.107,P=0.915>0.05).4 Compare the complications of drainageThere was no complications of drainage in the group of atmospheric pressure drainage.There were two cases which bleeding occurred in negative pressure drainage.Conclusions:1 After relaparoscopic kidney cancer radical surgery,both the atmospheric pressure drainage and the negative pressure drainage can achieve the desired effect.Comparing to the negative pressure drainage,the atmospheric pressure drainage can shorten nursing time needed for drainage and reduce the complications of drainage.2 Above all, we would choose atmospheric pressure drainage when placed in relaparoscopic kidney cancer radical surgery.
