The tumor of the parotid region is the most common disease in the salivary glands. The course of disease can be up to several years or even decades, most of which are benign tumors, among which mixed tumor is the most common tumor, and a few are malignant tumors, accounting for about 20% ~ 30% of parotid gland tumor.Surgery is the only effective method for the treatment of parotid gland neoplasms. In clinical practice, the following defects exist after conventional parotid gland surgery:(1)The "S" incision usually leaves a marked scar in the preauricular and submaxillary areas, affecting the beauty of the superfic ial lobe of the parotid gland or after total exc ision of the parotid gland, often resulting in the retention of salivary fluid after parotid gland surgery due to the often left cavity and the presence of residual glands.Complete anatomy of facial nerve can eas ily lead to the injury of facial nerve branches.Facial paralysis is a common complication of parotid surgery. Some patients can recover some functions after active treatment. The patients who can not recover completely will affect the quality of life in different degree. This study mainly studies different parotid gland tumor sites and different surgical methods, and uses negative pressure drainage technique after operation,so as to put the gills into the gills.Postoperative complications will be minimized.MethodsIn 40 cases, the modified operation(interhair approach, deep facial flap of parotid gland and masseter fascia),negative pressure drainage(20cases)and routine operation(20 cases)were performed.20 cases were randomly selected as experimental group(A)and control group(B)for retrospective analysis and summary. The follow-up time was : 1 week,1 month,3 months,6 months,1 year.Salivary fistula, facial malformation, facial paralysis, taste sweating syndrome,Freyossyndromeg, tumor recurrence.ResultThe incidence of postoperative complications in patients with parotid neoplasms treated by modified surgery was significantly higher than that in patients with parotid neoplasms treated by conventional surgery(P<0.05)ConclusionThe retrospective analys is and summary of patients with parotid benign tumor treated by modified operation and routine operation showed that the improved operation of interhairline approach, exposure by deep fascia flap lifting and negative pressure drainage after operation could effectively reduce the complications such as salivary retention, hematoma, facial nerve dysfunction,Frey syndrome and facial scar deformity after operation.
