Purpose: Investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of the modifi ed Six-Five Mixture in treating spleen deficiency and qi stagnatio n type functional dyspepsia. Research methods: Selected 70 cases of spleen deficiency and qi s tagnation type functional dyspepsia in clinical, which according wit h the inclusion criteriaand exclusion criteria, used randomized con trolled principle, 70 patients were randomly divided into experimenta l group with 35 cases(including 1 expulsive case), the control gr oup with 35 cases(including 1 expulsivecase). The treatment grou p was given modified Six-Five Mixture, which was the main prescr iption, taken orally, one dose a day, decocted with water 280 m l, 140 ml each time, before the breakfast and dinner, heatingand w arm-taken. The control group was given oral Domperidone Tablets(Xi’an Janssen Pharmaceutical Ltd, the country medicine ratification H10910003), 10 mg each time, 3 times a day, 15 to 30 minutes before meal s, taken orally. The experimental group and the control group wer etreated 2 weeks as 1 treating course, took continuous observati on for 2 courses, at the end of the treating courses, observed the two groups of patients, compared the changes of syndrome-integra l, life quality and the comprehensive curative effects, evaluate d the efficacy and the safety ofthis experiment observation. Duri ng the treatment, two groups of patientscan not take other drugs fo r this disease, in order to avoid the influence. Results:(1) observed the compare of average disease course of the treatment group and the control group: after statistics processin g, itexplained that, before the treatment, P>0.05, no significa nt difference; comparison of symptom-integral: after statistics proc essing, before treatment, P>0.05, no significant difference; after treatment, P<0.05, hadsignificant difference after the treatment.(2) life quality improvment comparison: after the treatment, the t reatment group and the control grouphad significant difference o n improving the quality of life(P<0.05).(3) thetotal effective rate of the overall effect comparison: the treatment group’seffe ctive rate of the overall effect was 91.18%, the control group’s effective rate of the overall effect was 73.53%, after statistics p rocessing, the curative effect of the two groups had significant di fferences, with statistical significance(P<0.05), the test group we re better than the control group.(4)Two groups of treatment of saf ety assessment:both medicine had no obvious effect to the ECG, hepati c function, renal function, blood routine, urine analysis, stool routine of all patients. Conclusion: Modified Six-Five Mixture is the main decoction on treating spleen deficiency and qi stagnation of functional dyspepsi a which have preferable clinical efficacy, especially in ameliorati ng the main clinical symptoms and TCM symptom-integral and the pa tients’ quality of life are better than the control group, no sig nificant side effects and adverse reactions, the curative effect i s significant, preliminary proved thatmodified Six-Five Mixture o n treating spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type of functional dy spepsia are safe, effective and worthy of promotingand applyin g for the clinical.
