Objective:To research the relationship between Syndrome Differentiation of TCM and serum Hcy levels in aged hypertension. Methods:The 450 cases of aged hypertension patients who are accordance with the inclusive criteria have been parted with TCM syndrome differentiation method, including qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome, abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome,yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome,qi-blood deficiency syndrome.Using statistical analysis method, analyzes the relationship between Hcy levels and gender, age, course of the disease, blood pressure grades, TCM syndromes. Results: 1. In the aged hypertension patients, the Hcy levels compare between men and women was statistically significant(P<0.05). 2. In the aged hypertension patients, the Hcy levels compared with different age groups:65~75 age group,76 ~85 years age group,85 years or older age group, there was significant difference among the 3 groups(P<0.05). 3. In the aged hypertension patients, the Hcy levels compared with different disease course groups:≤10years group, 11 to 20 years group, >20 years group, there was significant difference among the 3 groups(P<0.05). 4. In the aged hypertension patients, the Hcy levels compared with different blood pressure grade groups:There was a significant difference(P<0.01) between Grade-1 hypertensives and Grade-3 hypertensives, there was statistically significant(P<0.05) between Grade-1 and Grade-2, Grade-2 and Grade-3. 5. In the aged hypertension patients, the TCM syndrome type of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome>qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome.About the Hcy levels,phlegm-dampness syndrome and qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, qi-blood deficiency syndrome,Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome had statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)between the rest of the each two groups. 6. In the aged hypertension patients, the TCM syndrome type in H-hypertension of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome> qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome.About the Hcy levels,qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome and phlegm-dampness syndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, qi-blood deficiency syndrome,Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome had statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)between the rest of the each two groups. 7. In the aged hypertension patients, the TCM syndrome type in different age groups of Hcy levels :①In 65~75 age group, the TCM syndrome type of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome>qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome.About the Hcy levels,phlegm-dampness syndrome and qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, qi-blood deficiency syndrome,Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome had statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)between the rest of the each two groups.②In 76~85 age group, the TCM syndrome type of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome>qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome.About the Hcy levels,phlegm-dampnesssyndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, verabundant liver-fire syndrome,qi-blood deficiency syndrome, had significant different(P<0.01);there was statistically significance between phlegm-dampness syndrome and qi deficiency-blood stasis syndromet(P<0.05);qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome,Yin-yang deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome,qi-blood deficiency syndrome, had statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)between the rest of the each two groups.③In 85 years or older age group, the TCM syndrome type of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome> yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome. About the Hcy levels,qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome and phlegm-dampness syndrome compared with yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome, Yin-yang deficiency syndrome,qi-blood deficiency syndrome, overabundant liver-fire syndrome had statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant(P>0.05)between the rest of the each two groups. Conclusion: There were positively correlated with Hcy levels and age, course of the disease, blood pressure grades in the aged hypertension patients. The Hcy levels in men is Higher than in women in the aged hypertension patients. The TCM syndrome type of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome> qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome. The TCM syndrome type in H-hypertension of Hcy levels from high to low in the order is abundant phlegm-dampness syndrome>qi deficiency-blood stasis syndrome>yin-deficiency and yang-predominance syndrome>qi-blood deficiency syndrome>Yin-yang deficiency syndrome>overabundant liver-fire syndrome. The TCM syndrome type in different age groups of Hcy levels were different, and as the growth of the age, the type of Hcy levels also increase Subsequently...
