ObjectiveTo test the effect of 312 meridian exercise in treatment of obesity-related hypertension, analyze and evaluate its effect on blood pressure, weight, waist and hip circumference, blood lipids and quality of life,to provide a more simple, economic and scientific movement method for the crowd. Provide theoretical and experimental basis for 312 meridian exercise further promotion and application.MethodsAccording to the diagnosis and reception criterion,90 patients of type 1 obesity-related hypertension were recruited in this clinical trail. The research object were randomly divided into two groups,45 cases in each group. The control group were received general oral health education. While those patients in the test group receive 312 meridian exercise training for 12 weeks, about 30 minutes per day.The blood pressure, body shape index, lipids and quality of life were monitored before and 12 weeks after the test. During the experiment off/removed 12 cases, the final total of 78 patients completed the study,38 cases in which the test group and the control group of 40 patients.Application SPSS18.0 statistical analysis of experimental data.Results1.Changes in blood pressureFour weeks after the intervention, both SBP and DBP smoothly declined in the test group. There was significant decrease after training for 8 weeks and 12 weeks in the test group(P<0.01);.While the significant difference was not found in control group(P>0.05). After 12 weeks, compared with the control group, the difference in blood pressure between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).Repeated measures ANOVA showed a significant main effect of time and interaction between time and group on SBP(P<0.01),while no significant main effect of group on DBP(P>0.05).2.Changes in body shape index(1)Weight and BMI:Compared with pre-intervention,both weight and BMI were decreased respectively in the test group(P<0.05).While the significant difference was not found in control group(P>0.05).Compared with control group, the difference of weight and BMI between the two groups was no statistically significant (P>0.05).(2)Waist,Hips,WHR:Compared with pre-intervention,both waist and WHR were decreased respectively in the test group(P<0.01),hips no significant changes; While the significant difference was not found in control group(P>0.05).Compared with control group, the difference of waist, hips and WHR between the two groups was no statistically significant (P>0.05).3.Changes in blood lipidAfter the exercise, the test group were significant changes in blood lipid:TC、TG、LDL-C are significantly lower, and HDL-C was significantly increased(P<0.01).While the control group lipid difference before and after the test showed no statistically significant(P>0.05). Between the two groups after the test, only the difference of HDL-C was statistically significant(P<0.01). While no significant change in TC、TG and LDL-C(P>0.05).4.Change in quality of lifeAfter the exercise, the mean of the following factors of the quality of life of the test group increased:physical symptoms, vitality, relationships and sleep dysfunction.Compared with previous test, the differences of the sleep dysfunction of the intervention group was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with control group, the difference of the physical symptoms, vitality and sleep dysfunction of the test group were statistically significant (P<0.05). It could improve the quality of life, especially the sleep dysfunction.Conclusions1、312 meridian exercise has good anti-hypertensive effect, expected as an adjunct treatment for patients with obesity-related hypertension.2、312 meridian exercise had a trend toward improvement of patients with obesity-related hypertension in body shape index, but the effect was not significant.3、312 meridian exercise have a certain regulatory role on blood lipid levels of patients with obesity-related hypertension, especially has a positive effect in increasing HDL-C.4、312 meridian exercise can, to certain extent, improve the quality of life of of patients with obesity-related hypertension.
