| Objective: By testing the expression level of SASH1 protein and MMP-9 protein in human breast cancer and the normal adjacent tissues of cancer. Discussing the clinical significance, provide theoretical basis for monitoring development of prognosis and targeted therapy. So we can make a better understanding about breast caner. Methods: Examine the expression of SASH1 and MMP-9 protein in 50 cases of breast cancers as well as the expression of the two genes in corresponding adjacent normal tissues of breast cancer by using immunohistochemistry Eli Vision technique. All the cases collected in The 1st affiliated hospital of bengbu medical college from June 2013 to June 2014. Data results use SPASS19.0 statistical package for statistical analysis, and correlation analysis uses spearman rank correlation analysis.Analyze the relationship among the expression of SASH1ã€MMP-9 in the age, gender,TNM stages, grades of differentiation, metastasis of lymph nodes and the relativity of their expression in breast cancers.Results:1: In group of breast cancers, the positive rate of SASH1 protein(20%) is lower than the positive rate in corresponding adjacent normal tissues of cancer(64%),the result was significantly different between two groups(P<0.05).2: In group of breast cancers, the positive rate of MMP-9 protein(62%) is higher than the positive rate in corresponding adjacent normal tissues of cancer(32%),the result was significantly different between two groups(P<0.05)3: In cases of breast cancer, the expression of SASH1 protein was negatively correlated to mmp-9 protein.4: In breast cancers, the expression of SASH1 and MMP-9 protein are related to TNM stages, grades of differentiation, metastasis of lymph nodes, but are not related to age, tumor sizes.Conclusion:1:The expression rate of SASH1 in breast cancers is lower than the expression in corresponding adjacent normal tissues of cancer.2:The expression rate of MMP-9 in breast cancers is higher than the expression in corresponding adjacent normal tissues of cancer.3: In breast cancers, the expression of SASH1 and MMP-9 protein are related to TNM stages, grades of differentiation, metastasis of lymph nodes, but are not related to age, tumor sizes.4: In cases of breast cancer, the expression of SASH1 protein was negatively correlated to mmp-9 protein. Combined detection of SASH1 and MMP-9 to judge the invasion, metastasis and prognosis of breast cancer may have a important guiding significance.5:In cases of breast cancer, the expression of MMP-9 protein was positively correlated to HER2.. |
