Background and ObjectiveTo elucidate the therapy of congenital isolated hydrocephalus, and compare the effectiveness of surgery in utero and postnatal surgery.MethodsDatas of30cases of congenital isolated hydrocephalus in our hospital were studied. The effectiveness of surgery in utero is compared with that of postnatal surgery.ResultsAs results,28patients(93.3%) of the congenital isolated hydrocephalus have good effectiveness, the remaining2patients(6.7%) which had surical complications also had good effectiveness after redone the V‐P shunt. The effectiveness of surgery in utero didn’t showed advantage to the postnatal surgery.ConclusionsThe congenital isolated hydrocephalus should be treated at the early stage,the V‐P shunts is the first choice.The surgey in utero shouldn’t be recommended as the priority. |
